Just curious how in the original post the writer being Catholic failed to mention the Orthodox church of the east who of all of the denominations has remained the truest to apostolic traditions, as well as closest to Catholicism. The biggest difference being Papal infalability, and also the Filioque which let’s be honest depending on iterpretation is pretty much saying the same thing two different ways.
Anyways just thought it peculiar considering the discourse throughout this thread that there was no mention by anybody of this the closest remaining denomination to the one true church before the schism.
