The Breakfast Sandwich and Burrito Bulk - Jackolee

Yeah, hams is what I meant there.

I thought maybe you had a sandwich ready to go.

IF YOU CAN POST ON T-NATION THEN YOU’RE NOT WORKING HARD ENOUGH!!!

I know exactly what I need to do to hit my goals. It’s really not rocket science. I need to eat at home as much as I eat out (19-21 meals out). I also need to not eat candy bars every-time I get gas (I drive 4-5k miles a month and drive a truck). But, I still hired a coach because I need to be accountable to someone and have the financial burden of paying someone.

Your time is worth as much as people are willing to pay you for it.

Haven’t been as consistent with weighing in in the mornings. I’ll try to get better about this. I’m just not as excited about seeing the scale go up. I’m sure once I’m at a weight I’ve never been before it will get exciting but right now I feel like I’m just gaining back the fat I lost over the last three and a half months.

I didn’t weigh in this morning but hopped on the scale this evening and was 179. That makes me think I’m probably around 175in the morning. I’ll make sure to weigh in tomorrow.

I’m feeling thicker in the arms and shoulders, but definitely in the waist as well. Gonna just have to get used to a slightly fluffier me. I’m gonna stick with this through the end of the year regardless. I’m sure I’ll put on some muscle, but the fat gain seems inevitable as well.

Here’s me at 179 this evening. Hard to believe that’s 24 lbs heavier than stage day lol.

Looking good mate, your version of 179 is so much better than mine. Lol

Damn Jack that’s almost 20 pounds in very little time.
You look way better than my 176 lbs this morning.
Keep up the good work my friend.

Me too, I want to see what your 205 looks like

Thanks man! I’m sure those will fade away as I gain but who knows… maybe I’ll use them as a marker for when to cut the calories back a little. Try to keep a smidgin of an veins at all times lol

I was very surprised how quickly the weight came back. Took me months to loose it and 10 days to gain it back. I was 158 and fully hydrated two days out from my show so it’s not water. I’m sure some glycogen which in turn will hold more water but damn I wasn’t expecting 20 lbs. I need to do measurements and see when’re it went to. Hopefully my core isn’t the only thing that’s gotten bigger.

Woke at 174.0 so a little lighter than I was expecting. With having competition for my team last weekend I didn’t do a good job of food prepping and I’ve been paying for it this week. Lots of meals out.

I don’t have anything this weekend other than yard workin the sunshine and leg day. I’ll make sure to get to the store and cook for next week. If makes staying on track so much easier.

I hit all 3 of my cardio sessions this week and am proud of that. When I’m in a gaining mode i tend to ignore cardio but it’s super important for heart health especially since I’m blaring my Test higher than normal right now.

Headed with a buddy to a commercial gym this afternoon so that should be fun. Unfortunately we always do this on Fridays so it’s always biceps and back. Maybe next week I’ll switch up my order of days so that we can either hit legs or chest and triceps. It is nice though to have a variety of equipment to use.

Food for today
Meal 1
1 cup fat free cottage cheese
5 black berries
4 strawberries
1/4 cup grapenuts
2 peanut butter oatmeal balls
1 cup oats

Meal 2
1 cup whites
1 egg
2 pieces turkey bacon
1 cup oats

Preworkout
1 scoop whey

Post workout
1 scoop karbolyn
1 scoop whey

Meal 3
6 oz chicken
6 oz brown rice
3 oz greens

Meal 4
6 oz chicken
6 oz brown rice
3 oz greens

Meal 5
Who knows. Taking my almost 15 year old out on a date tonight. Dinner wherever she wants and a movie. Guessing that she’s gonna either pick pasta or pizza. Fine by me.

Depending on how heavy dinner is and what time we get back I might have my evening shake too.

Should end up between 3500 and 4000 calories unless I eat the whole pizza again.

You still look like a fitness model so I’d say you’re doing okay.

Date night with my oldest daughter was pretty cool. She’s getting to the age where we can actually have good conversion. We went to a brick oven pizza place called Grimaldi’s. I had a little self control and had 3 pieces. Seemed reasonable and I didn’t leave super stuffed. Really excellent pizza and then to an ice cream place where they freeze it with liquid nitrogen right in front of you. It was neat but the ice cream was sub par in my opinion. Good times

Nah, he doesn’t look anything at all like a fitness model. You have to have a look of detached boredom to look like that, and he always has that shit-eating grin on his face. :stuck_out_tongue:

The male pattern baldness and the beard don’t help either. I still have some remnants of the competition tan though so that counts for something lol

Woke at 175.0

Today’s supposed to be the second leg day of the week but I’m consodering moving it to tomorrow. I’ll see how I feel as the day gets rolling. I woke up with sciatic nerve pain. I usually only get this when my back is having issues or I’m out of alignment pretty bad. I don’t feel like either of those issues are present at the moment, but definitely have a shooting nerve pain down my right glute and hamstring when I move the wrong way.

I did some decently heavy bent over underhand rows yesterday, but didn’t feel like I strained anything in my lower back. Gonna have a couple of coffees and browse the forums for a bit and hope it remedies itself.

Hope everyone has a good weekend

You might do some 90/90 stuff to make sure everything is in alignment.

Lie on your back on the floor and put your feet on the wall so that knees and hips are at 90*. Press each foot into the wall individually. Put something between your knees and squeeze it and press into the wall a bit just to feel things out.

According to @FlatsFarmer, you can reset your SI joint this way. And I tagged him in case I missed something in thar explanation.

Thanks man. I’ll give it a shot. Unfortunately my pelvis is really crooked all the time. If you draw a horizontal line from the top on one side to the top on the other from my x rays my right side sits 9mm higher than my left. Through years of chiro I’ve gotten it down to about 6mm but that’s just how I am now.

I can feel it when I sit in a chair. Almost all of my weight is on my left glute. This inturn causes a curvature in my spine. When it gets too extreme that’s when I spasm. Haven’t been down that road in a little over a year so I’m gonna be careful with this one. I like the sound of the wall pushes though. Seems like you’d want something to help push you against the wall so you could build some decent pressure.
