The Bodyguard and Bricknyce

Same goes for my profession. I’m an RD at a hospital and nursing home. They should fire me. How dare they employ a nutrition professional when he doesn’t have hawt abz. I should also be stripped of my degrees or every utter a word about nutrition and exercise again.

By the way, jerkoff, I no longer intend to be big because my fitness endeavors have changed and I’m not doing a bodybuilding program anymore.

My program is this now:

Day 1: Full body session
Day 2: 40 minute tempo run
Day 3: 100 to 400 meter sprints
Day 4: Full body session
Day 5: 40 minute tempo run
Day 6: 100 to 400 meter sprints

Could this schedule be accomplished with being HUUUUUGE!

And thanks for the publicity and jockgrabbing considering you know me and I never saw your screen name until NOW.

Why don’t you point me to some useful content YOU have put up on here. And again, my content on here is so useless that a thread of mine reach its post limit and I still have another thread like that going.

And tell me if I’ve EVER written anything on bodybuilding training that even elite IFBB pros don’t do.

Perhaps it’ll make you happier if I got wrapped up in shit conversations about waxy maize vs juice vs Gatorade vs Surge vs a tuna sandwich post workout.

OH, and come to think of it, I wonder if all the top researchers out there that have done work on PWO nutrition are HYUUUUGE! I wonder if a bunch of professors, men with Phds in nutrition say to each other, “Guys, do u tink we should let dis info out? Afta all, we’re just a bunch of nerds conducting research for da benefit of big guyz and athletez, but we’re small and nebbishy ourselves. Datz it, call it off.”

I also wonder if I should be barred from attending bodybuilding shows because I don’t want to look like a pro bodybuilder. Perhaps the sports industries SHOULD TANK considering NONE of the people clogging up Citifield and Yankee Stadium around here and making the sports industry a billion dollar industry should be barred from being fans of pro sports because they themselves aren’t pro sports competitors. Same goes for Olympics or any activity we fitness enthusiasts do that resemble Olympic activities.

After all, who the hell is anyone on here to speak of interval training and sprints when they themselves don’t run a sub-ten-second 100 meters? Who the hell is anyone on here to speak of powerlifting when they themselves don’t have a 1,000 pound squat?

If grown adults had your line of thinking, you wouldn’t even have this goddamn website to post on.

Steak 'Ems, take this as an example, someone whom I’ve spoken to a few times in real conversation.

How else are we supposed to judge people from here? It’s our only form of “interaction.” Well, unless you talk to other members on the phone/IM/in real life, which most of us don’t do.

Anyway,

Re: sounding “God-like” (which, I wouldn’t necessarily call it that anyway), why give out advice on PLing if A. you’re likely giving out shitty advice, and B. in that entire post you just made, you say you’ve been around the bodybuilding scene and are well versed in nutrition, but nothing about powerlifting. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see the point in giving out advice on topics you’re not too well versed in. And just because you used the conjugate method here and there, or that you squat 500lbs doesn’t make you a PLer.

In all honesty, I read your posts about nutrition and shit, but I do think most of your other posts on here have an “I’m better than all you minions” attitude to it. But I’m sure some of mine do, too. hah

So I must be a PLer to talk shop about bodybuilding training on here. According to this line of thinking, and as I said before, there would be almost NO forums.

I expressed myself poorly in talking about the deadlift, which you brought up again, for which I apologized about.

And YEAH, I’ll say that doing regular bodybuilding routines with sets of 6 to 12 and not fretting over the dumbest shit in regards to anything related to fitness and nutrition is a better way to get to where someone needs to be.

All of you have my contact info, so feel free to get back to me when you set the bodybuilding and powerlifting worlds on fire!

I’m also VERY surprised you made an entire thread about me because of that communication between you and I - a communication in which I actually wrote something like, “I think I expressed myself poorly.” and then you reply, “No, you didn’t.” YOU telling ME how I expressed myself poorly, AS IF you know what’s going through my head or if I’m truly apologetic or not.

I’m also surprised because I’m not even so familiar with your posts on here, and if someone mentioned your handle to me, I’d probably reply with, “Wait a sec… Who’s that again? I’m not familiar with him or his posts.” That’s how little I know of you, but you sure have been following me.

Thanks for the airtime!

All the big guys on here Prof X etc state that unless you are BIG you shouldn’t be giving out advice i thought the same would apply to you, also in your posts you talk down to everyone as if you are superior.

Whats happened to T-Nation? :frowning:

lmao

FUUUUCK YOU!!!

Professor X isn’t the webmaster, nor does any webmaster who wants to remain in business demand photos and medical records from a physician on anthropometrics be faxed over to him/her. While I respect him and have communicated with him and others personally via IM, I’m not his step-and-fetch-it, nor do I feel the need to make entire threads asking him for advice or approval of what I’m going to do with my fitness routine or life.

I’ve BEEN BIG, am still fairly strong, and NOT small (220 at 5’10") - nothing to sneer at for someone who treats his fitness hobby as a HOBBY! And you might realize one day that hobbies can no longer take precedence over money, profession, women, friends, and family!

Example: I’ve literally been trapped in 4 hours of back to back meetings in healthcare. Do you think it’s appropriate to stuff my face with a 1,000 calorie meal in front of an administrator, a resident and his/her family members, and a medical team? “Sorry folks, I know this is important, but I gotta eat. Take care.” Most employers also don’t give a shit about my workouts when I must stay late.

A woman who wants to spend a night with me isn’t so fond that I have to get up at 10AM on a SUNDAY MORNING to eat a specific meal at a specific time. I’m not giving up time with a woman if she asks me to spend the night without prior notice because her closet and fridge isn’t stocked with oatmeal, eggs, and fruit!

Workouts and specific meals at specific times are not going to take precedence over professional meetings AFTER WORK (time I have to work out).

Workouts are not going to take precedence over seeing a friend after work that I haven’t seen in ages.

My sixth meal of the day designated for a certain time is not taking precedence over staying out til 3 AM if I’m out socializing.

The Spartan lifestyle of bodybuilding that will not earn me one red cent isn’t taking precedence over eating some junk at a party.

Bottom line: Although I’ve BEEN BIG, bigness will not get me what I want out of my LIFE at this point.

Nor do I care so much about having the reputation of being the “Big Guy”. Example: “Who Brad, da Big Guy?”

I hope your investment in becoming huge yields a HUGE REWARD, because it doesn’t do that for me anymore.

I looked up Steakems’ posts. All I see are the one in here and a bunch of others in one of the usual SAMA threads dedicated to the genuflection, worship, and fawning of an attractive woman in which the posters will NEVER get that woman.

Perhaps that’s another thing that pissed people off here, my criticism of infantile behavior. And I delivered this criticism because I SINCERELY thought to myself several times while viewing the SAMA forum, “Damn, imagine if these guys gave up making 1,000-post threads worshiping women or the bodyarts of women. What they could do with all that sexual and masculine energy is actually go out and have a relationship and/or sex with a REAL women - a woman they can actually get. That is, not worshiping women that make their living off of sex and their looks - pornstars, strippers, models, and celebrities.”

Perhaps that offended some people too, but I sincerely thought this.

And I’m a little too abrasive sometimes. I apologize for that, and actually told people in a thread that I won’t do that anymore.

Perhaps abrasiveness is warranted when some college kid who might be better inclined to worry about more important things is fretting that he can’t afford Surge because he has FIFTY bucks to his name - a problem in itself far bigger than post workout nutrition! Most adults without two cents to rub together believe that they better get other shit together before they think about getting HUUUUGE!

The only people jumping at the chance to fight are the people who don’t know what it feels like to have too much to lose. I’ve been there, and I’m much happier now.

I also agree with this.

I think Brick’s a genuine guy who wants to help people succeed and gets frustrated with all of the unncessary bullshit and time that’s wasted along with it.

Again, east coast mentality… Not a bad thing in my opinion.
You see that, BG? IH agrees with my assessment that you’re a dick. Kick his ass!
Well, yes, that’s true about “people who don’t know what it feels like to have too much to lose” But, another part of it is that I just don’t see the point of actually fighting someone because we don’t agree with something they said. Or, called them a name… It IS disrespectful, but at the same time, it’s just words.

Unlike you, Lanky, i’m not sure if I could guarantee that i’d be mature or have enough composure and restraint if someone laid their hands on me irl. I’d like to think and hope that i’d let it go…but I honestly don’t know.
