Wait - 2 sessions a day? Did I miss something?

Nope…weights earlier, conditioning/cardio later. Slight mistake on the cardio is that i glugged a bottle of Surge Workout Fuel before hitting the treadmill which made me a bit full and nauseous, slowed me down a bit too.
I would really like to be splitting like this if i can find a way of doing it.
Several of the regular Indigo-3G posters split the weights sessions as well into the hfs work and the spec/structural work.
Going for 5 weights sessions this week if i can.
Gotta try and do the work.
Hmmm, cardio sessions in addition to weight training. That ought to trim you up by itself. Wonder how much the Indigo-3G brings to the table.
You’re certainly dedicated.
I will be watching with interest,to see your results. Some really good work so far, you go girl.

If only you had a pound for every time someone said “Oh, you’re the nurse???”

It would be simpler just to cross-dress .
(don’t tell brett !!)
Week 4.2
Am fasted walk 45 minutes.
Update…did a quick measurement last night of a couple of significant skin folds (front abdominal) and they are each down about 5mm…bit of a crude meaasurement (home caliper) but definitely in the right direction.
Ok so Pm and off to gym.
Treadmill warm up (drove in rather than walk)
Warm up complex x 4 rounds : bare bar (10s) 55lbs (8s) 66lb (6s) 77lbs (4s) except dropped the c&p on the last 2 sets.
1.Bilateral work : front squat, bench press. deadlift. (not including warm up sets on any)
Fs 110 lbs 4 x 5
Bench 104 lbs 4 x 5
Deadlift 198lbs 4 x 5.
2.Unilateral work : weighted step up, db bench, suitcase lift.
Weighted step up 6 blocks and deck
99 lbs 4 x 5
Db bench 31 lbs 4 x 5
Suitcase lift 79lbs 4 x 5.
3.Isolation work (difficult today because of very busy gym and couldn’t get on stations)
Db flye 22lb 3 x 8 (felt a lot tighter today–ready for more weight)
Tricep cable push down 99lb 4 x 6 (getting stronger on this)
Lat pull down 134 1 x 10 and then 150lbs 4 x 5.
- Cardio : 30 minutes treadmill ‘freeform’ intervals running at 9-9.8 mph and walking at slope.
5.Finishing : foam roll and stretching.
Flapjack and protein shake.
Off to work
You are certainly throwing yourself into this lark. I think you are going to do really well. You are very dedicated and just writing out your workouts lately must be burning a good few calories.
Is that ordinary flapjack or is it a special “Peak Performance T-booster GH Release Flapjack” imported from T-Nation at vast expense?

Like Klinger on MASH. “boy, that nurse sure has hairy legs!” You do get MASH reruns over there, don’t you? Very popular here.
Sorry about that I just always sub%$#E*( whatever assoiciated your old avatar with you being female. LOL Anyway It will be of interest to everyone to see what kind of results you get with this program.

You missed all the fun we had with the lovely upscale this year, not only thought that i was female but with a female partner as well !!.
End of week 5. (transferred over from my Indigo log)
Sorry about being awol guys.
It’s been a complete washout !. Since going down with a heavy cold/flu like illness last week i have spent all week at home, mostly in bed and just up for a few hours during the night.
I have needed something like 10-12 hours of sleep every day and only surfaced before mid day on the last couple of days.
Training…nil, couldn’t have trained (incredibly weak and lethargic) couldn’t even face going out for a walk.
General muscle feeling is that of being very slack and ‘dry’ probbaly very glycogen depleted and dehydrated.
Diet…appalling, haven’t wanted to eat at all, have had to make myself take 1 Indigo dose and eat 1 proper meal each day.
The downside is that i have been completely craving anything high carb and have been eating toast just to get some calories in.
Over the last 2 days i have started back on protein shakes (made me really nauseous last week)
Total feeling…really excessively tired, flat, thoroughly fed up.
Hope to get out of the house at the weekend and at least get some fresh air.
Signing off on this week and giving it up as a bad job.
When i do get back to the gym i think i will just go for a warm up (complexes) and do some stretches and foam rolling, when i am back on weights i will start last weeks routine all over gain.
On the work that CT has suggested ie a whole body training routine but split bewteen bilateral and unilateral exercises to deal with the BLD i think there is a lot more mileage to be had in this and it is what i will be carrying on with for the foreseeable future.
With the indigo i need to get back to the full dosing protocol for at least another 6 weeks, plan after that will be to drop to maintainance for a while but most likely with a pulse feast protocol and use a full dose regime for ‘hard’ periods.
Sorry to hear about the cold. Take care of yourself, let your body recover.
Am I the only person here who hasn’t been flattened by illness this season?
It’s hardly even a surprise with what i am surrounded by every day, our entire team is down with something similar to a greater or lesser degree.
Worrying thing is that it feels like a bite of the black dog again as soon as i am not out hitting the trail and not training.
I’m amazed doctors & nurses don’t get sick more often. I’ve seen episodes of MAS*H where the doctors operate even though they have flu with runny nose and everything. Yechh!! Is there anything you people do to avoid it?

If only it was just operating with a runny nose !!
Oh the stories i could tell !.
Right now ‘health’ care just seems to be a tragico-comedic black farce where sick people look after slightly sicker people.
Having a mere nose drip is nothing compared to having explosive diarrea half way through a procedure !!
What do we do to cope with being ill while working ??
Beats me…we just do.
??
Gee, thanks. I’ll NEVER go to a hospital ever again.
