Whens the last time you heard Bill Clinton’s, Ronald Reagan’s, Jimmy Carter’s, etc ad infinitum’s middle name? (John Quincy Adams and the Bushs don’t count as their middle names are used to show who they are).
When is it wrong to use their middle name? Why is it wrong to use a persons middle name? If there was some statement made about it, that would be different, but there wasn’t.
Just like it is not wrong to say William Jefferson Blythe III, (Or William Jefferson Clinton,) Or George Herbert Walker Bush, or Hillary Road-Ham Clinton. (Ok, maybe that last one is different.)
So, if you’re saying it, it probably IS to try and connect him to Saddam, subconsciously of course.
Are you sure about that? I can’t say I really knew the guy, but he does contend that it is a sign of respect to use a persons full name. And after listening to him speak after the event, if he actually meant something because of it, I actually believe he would have proudly said that he meant it.
And John Stewart is a COMEDIAN. Why does everyone think he’s the left’s version of Bill O’Reilly? People KNOW he’s joking. Duh. Use logic people…

Yes he is a comedian. And he did do a joke about Obama’s name, but there was no outcry. (And no there should not have been.) But there is when a person simply uses the persons middle name, when there should not have been there either.
The point still stands, regardless of whether it was a comedian or not. The comedian is the one who made the statements, not the speaker. The speaker only used the person’s full name, and nobody can give a single good reason as to why it is wrong to use a person’s full name. The whole argument is a joke.
And I do know what comedy is, I have done stand up comedy. (I just flew into town and boy do my balls itch.) But people actually get their news from his show. They think they are getting real news, and that is just sad.
