Uh, RadioHead is hugely successful

The lady from 4 non blondes writes pop music for some of the biggest acts in the business

Darius Rucker of Hootie fame is an award winning country musician

Counting Crows have had several successful albums

Shannon Hoon died of a heroin overdose here in Houston

How about this masterpiece

Things that groove…

That’s cool, man. I just needed a tag for the radio singles from the time.

And because no one else has posted it yet…

I could go on, but I’ve had enough fun already. I’m out!

Math rock. Oh yea…

This particular recording is meant to be listened to on vinyl but alas

Yeah, dude! Trans Am and Tortoise FTW!

How none of these has been posted is beyond me-

People can make fun of Hammer and Ice all they want, but these songs went hard as fuck.

Word.

PS best thing to come out of the 90s was me.

An anthem for the ladies I suppose [?]:

Michael Jordan
The Simpsons
Pre-9/11 feeling of security
The last decade where there were famous bands that mattered
Timbaland and the Neptunes on their way to practically running hip hop, and r&b
Eminem [towards the end], Dr Dre making a comeback
WWF Attitude
Alternative rock
Pop Punk, Britpop, THE VERVE
authentic gangsta rap
unauthentic but still good Gangsta rap

I don’t have too many memories of the culture of the 90s but there were some great stuff.

EDIT: Pac is ovverrated, Biggie is underrated [amazingly].[/quote]

Larry, seeing as both the Simpsons and Michael Jrdan are two of my favorite things I feel compelled to tell you that they came out of the 80’s. And yes, Biggie is underrated.
