Lets start this thread off right…
Am I the only other person that lifts in a New Era cap?
How do you wear them?
How long does it take you guys to wear one out?
How do you wash/maintain them?

Dan Green’s awesome, but all you wanna do is talk about a head covering?

In the video?
That would be “Waking the Demon” by Bullet for My Valentine.

Nope, just the subject of 59fifty hats in general. I just thought the video was cool.
Do people really buy hats based on the brand?

Dan Green is the only person that can make those flat billed caps look good.
I’m wearing one as I write this lol, I’ve got a few, hat probably lasts a few months, I don’t bother washing them I just throw them away when they start to smell. I normally wear one less often to keep it clean, for when I need to look extra fly…lol
Interesting.
This just reminds me of wearing red Yankees caps to try and be fly like Fred Durst…

We’ve already discussed his lifting all over the place dude…
I prefer my hats to look worn and raggedy. The 59fifty hats never fit me right and look huge on my dome. I like to throw my baseball hats in the washing machine for the extra worn and crappy look

I always kinda wonder if the dudes wearing caps are trying to hide the balding from steroid sides.

And…this IS the get a life forum, correct?

Well, if you want to rep a specific team’s actual “on-field” cap, or if you want a specific fit/quality of construction…then yes.
I personally feel like I look stupid in most cheap hats, and that most cheap hats look stupid.
I pretty much stick to New Era at the moment. I fell in love with fitted caps, and those seem to be the best ones I can get my hands on.
I am interested to get a quality snap back in the near future. Maybe a Mitchell and Ness, but probably New Era.

Ya, I get wanting it to fit. I usually just stick it on my head and see if I like it…
I’ve met people with 30 different NY Yankee hats so, I get it.

Hey, Csulli! How’s it hangin’?
Can someone give me an explanation of what exactly a New Era cap is, and why someone would wear one? I don’t have a single friend who would be caught dead wearing one of these, based on what I’m seeing on their website.
