I don’t have serious discussions with trolls, but please carry on with your regularly scheduled antics You do the gay cause more good than any objective research I could post.

Forlife, you might have misread the question. I asked you a what if question. Rigorous research might lead to a different conclusion in the light of new data. It might happen that the next 20 years bring new (“improved”) standardized measures of mental health and the outcome will be that homosexuality is a mental illness. Would you accept such a scientific consensus if it becomes true?
Yes, I would go with the current conclusions of science even if I didn’t want them to be true. I see cherry picking from the gay bigots all the time when it comes to science, so hopefully I wouldn’t resort to the same hypocrisy. For example, on the origin of sexual orientation, I have always been willing to recognize the potential role of both genetics and environment, even though doing so tangentially supports the other camp’s argument that sexual orientation can be changed.
Science doesn’t always get it right, but it is by far the most accurate and reliable method we have for determining truth.

How does someone with over 3000 posts still be labeled a troll?

Not one post of substance will do the trick.
To be fair to Mick28 though we never discussed the anal rape of livestock so he had no real chance to shine.
Can I just not like gays?
Is that allowed? Or does it make me a bigot? I mean, am I a bigot because the idea of some homo taking cock down his throat or up his ass or both…turns my stomach? Wait, maybe I’m just repressing homosexual desires of my own? Or…did that gang bang at Boy’s summer camp really happen?

Shit, I dont know.
You can just not like gay people.
If you wallow in your hatred though and think obsessively about where they stick their giant throbbing penises you should ask yourself why you dislike them more than, lets say, Furries.

Hmm…well, I do however think that all laws should be equal. I dont desire for gays to be 2nd class or anything. I just dont want to hang out with them.

Forlife,
We never know if present conclusions of science are true - they’ve changed so many times. Science is a great approach to studying physical world, but science is of little help to us in defining health and sickness, especially mental health and sickness. Those definitions are a matter of politics. Now what follows afterwards can be highly scientific, but when the underlying base is not scientific, the whole structure is not scientific. That is why I think appeals to medical authorities regarding whether homosexuality is right or wrong, is healthy of not are of little value, whatever the current conclusion is.

I didn’t say they gay, but since I found them I thought you might want a hot spot to check out. I never said they were ashamed, and they do not feel guilty. Stop assuming things.
Are you saying they don’t feel a deep aversion, repulsion, and disgust toward homosexuality? Are you denying that due to their religious beliefs, they think homosexuality is a perversion and contrary to god’s will? Do you not understand how these kinds of feelings might motivate a person to repress, deny, and cover up their sexual orientation? Why do you think people go into the closet in the first place?
You’re trying to create a circle of excuses, that is not there, so you can say they are still gay. You would rather fight about if someone I personally know is gay or not instead of just accepting that maybe it is more about getting attention or something else besides what they were born with.

So you’ve had “gay feelings” in the past which you no longer have now?

Nope, never have sorry. I won’t play into your homosexual fantasies. I said things I have gone through, life is not labeled as gay or not gay. Get over it. I did not sponsor these people because they were gay, I sponsored them because they asked me to. They happened to be ex-homosexuals.

No, I’m just trying to help you understand why so many gay people go into the closet in the first place. There is enormous pressure, especially for people with strong religious beliefs, to repress these feelings because they consider them to be abnormal, perverted, and sinful.
