Did any of you guys hear about this?
Apparently this guy was quite obese and dropped a load of weight through weight training and proper diet. Anyway the whole thing started with his post on bodybuilding.com which included before and after pictures.
It grew into a gigantic thread and the guy has quite a few fans. It appears he was hired by bb.com (or some supplement company) to endorse some products and after all of this it turns out that his after pic was photoshopped - he added abs and about 20 pounds of overall mass to himself. I mean, the guy definitely got lean and has a bit of muscle to boot, but he has no six-pack and looks considerably less impressive in the undoctored photo.
Seems a lot of people are pretty upset that the guy duped them. Even though he did drop the weight and get into decent shape, the misrepresentation of his actual physique is really rubbing people the wrong way - particularly when the guy puts himself up there as some sort of fat-loss guru (he runs his own site now)endorsing products and writing articles about how he achieved…well, basically shit he didn’t actually achieve. And he’s presenting photoshopped pics? - Pretty underhanded I think.
On page 41 of the thread about 6 posts down someone did a flash comparison of the before and after photo untouched and shopped - unreal that someone would do that, but when you see it it’s ridiculous how much he changed his physique.
Anyway it’s called “Before and After…250+ and now 160.” on page 3 of their forums about halfway down if anyone wants to see this for themselves.
What do you guys think about the whole thing? And has anyone else seen the thread & pics?
