I’ve said that numerous times. If you take out the college boys (who know everything because their professor just told them) and non Americans you’ve reduced the atheist and socialists by a good number. On the other hand it can be fun having many of them around to represent the other side.
without us euro-trash-socialist-liberal-progressivs there wouldt be any debates only a bunch of guys who patted eachother on the back. Without antagonism, you dont get friction.

It seems that we finally agree`s on something ZEB.
True enough, let’s raise a glass of _____________. Your favorite drink?

Well I guess I am unamerican, I generally only drink whisky or burboun.

Jack, Jim Beam Rye would be my econmic choices, but always keep some woodford reserve or Ri around.

Jim Beam? Nice, you’re American.

Looking back at that George Washington speech, it’s beautiful, and although I’m not a believer I think we could use more gratitude. Sometimes I’m amazed at America’s success over the years. We started with the most impossible dream…

As far as beer and whiskey are concerned I’m afraid I’m with the foreigners. Newcastle Brown Ale is my favorite beer, and Talisker (on the rare occasions I can afford to splurge) is my favorite whiskey. It was my dad’s drink and now I think it’s mine.

when we talk about whiskey I most say: laphroig( I probably spelled it wrong, but its gealic in my defence ), it has this great after taste of smoked wood. Its a scottish whiskey if someone wants to know.

Why do you think other western countries were not as religious? Secularisation started in the '60s here in the Netherlands. I’m not sure why you’d single your country out like this when all western nations developed with a religious base.

You won’t like my answer so we better not go there. You know…
You’re better than us? Come on zeb, show some hubris!
Well, if you really want to hear it. America was founded as “one nation UNDER GOD…” I could go on but I leave it at that for now.
Could you point out to me where in the original declaration of independence the christian god was specifically mentioned?

Could you also point out to me where in the original pledge of allegiance god is mentioned?

Thanks.

Even though Mason’s may have helped with creating this country a lot of our country’s laws come from or are based on Canon Law from the Catholic Church.

Bud is horrible, don’t listen to him. Most of Americas good beers are craft beers, small establishment kind of stuff. The best American beer I tasted was out of a Monastery actually.

Prohibition created the hard liquor market. Although I do like both.
