Going out of course. I think it’s gonna be a combo night… there’s a couple house parties, some ska/soul/reggae band at bottom lounge (but I dont want to pay cover), and then my friend is DJing at The Exit (4am bar)

Exit is cool. One of my coworkers’ band played there. Have you been to Neo? I like the music there on Fridays. I haven’t been to Bottom Lounge yet.
Haven’t been to Neo, I’ll hjave to check that out. Bottome Lounge used to be near Wrigleyville, but now it’s Id ont know where (didnt’ end up going to it anyways). So its 6:40am and I’m going to sleep, as you are presumably waking up hahaha.

I received a ‘Happy New Year’ text from my Staff Sergeant. I can’t be certain, but he used all caps and a lot of exclamation points, so I think he might have been drunk.
