The myth about testosterone appears to induce aggression, Naef stated. “People who believe they are given testosterone behave much more aggressively and anti-socially, compared with people who think they received placebo,” he said.
“Hormones provide a basic backdrop, but changes in levels will do little to behaviour compared to personality, culture and society.”
This is common knowledge dude. The thing is Test, is publicized as a cause of violence. Everyone knows high T causes well being feelings vs angry ones.
Honestly, with all the Test around here, how many assholes do you really think there are? vs The number of genuine good guys.
It’s too late though. People already believe in “roid rage” and popular belief has proven to trump truth throughout history.
If you repeat something false enough times, eventually people consider it to be true.
Roid rage was always considered a myth…until talking heads on tv turned into the most dangerous killing agent on the planet that turns sane men into raging lunatics who kill their whole families.
Truth doesn’t sell headlines much…so with that in mind, this study won’t be the issue on tonight’s Nancy Grace.
True, “Testosterone Supplementation Reduces Bargaining Conflicts” probably wouldn’t sell many papers, but I’d like to think it might help pave the way for me going to my doc a decade or two down the road for some HRT to keep me feeling young.

Even worse, some average people (including some in the media) are so woefully misinformed they think legal supplements like creatine are also steroids and will lead to “roid rage.” Idiots!

They aren’t the only ones though. On this very site you have people repeating “sarcoplasmic hypertrophy” simply because they read it somewhere yet we haven’t seen any study showing this in humans yet.
If you repeat it long enough, so many accept it that you can’t even fight it until all of the dumb people die off. Look at marijuana laws in this country. Now ask yourself why you can LEGALLY go drink enough alcohol until you die tonight.
Then ask yourself why you have never heard of “marijuana poisoning”.

The guy on tv said it takes 40,000 times more marijuana to kill yourself than to get high. Acheiving said quantities would be quite difficult and require a high dosage of concentrated THC. THat said, getting drunk in the parking lot before going to a movie is pretty fun.
