Hi there. I got some questions if you guys dont mind. First, to clear it up, im 20 years old and got no facial hair, general low muscle strength/mass and i did’nt get much out of my training. Im also taking medications for depression. When i was 14-15 i was pretty short compared to my peers, and had not reached puberty yet.
Because of that, i got sent to my doctor, who when sent me to a specialist. There i was given shots of testosteron/grow hormones? to kick start my puberty. That worked quite well.
So a while ago i decided to get blood work done, as i suspected that my testosteron levels were low. As the tests showed, my levels were low, but not so low that i could get sent to a specialist, as i got declined twice. My levels were at 13, in the normal range of 9-35.
As i was not pleased with having no facial hair and slow resaults of my training, i went to my new doctor, as i just have moved to another city. After talking to him, we decided to try out testogel 50 mg/day, and compare the bloodwork in a month.
So now you got the backstory, my questions are following:
- How fast will the testosteron levels claim higher
- Will i notice something right away? Facial hair etc.
Thanks for answers. I know 50mg is not a lot, and its beside the point to be honest. I just want normal high levels, as i have read and heard it has many positive effects.

You have ‘read’ that high normal levels of TESTOSTERONE has many positive effects? Where did you read that drivel?
Anyway, your level will begin rising within the day, but of course this wont be noticeable immediately.
I have no idea as to the rate it rises as i dont know the absorbtion rate, bioavailability or half life of that product.
I would honestly say, dont worry about it - just wait and see.
Hair, muscle etc all take TIME to grow, so no - you will NOT see growth of hair immediately, honestly you may never.
It is absolutely possible you never have a massive amount of hair.
I am not particularly hairy and trust me my T level is higher than most
As the level of the hormone begins to build in your system over the following weeks, you should begin to notice psychological effects first, physical effects take some time to present as i said, structures (like hair) take time (and ingredients - the chocolate milk and chicken will undoubtedly help) to build.
You would be better off posting in the over 35 forum as they have a lot of experience with TRT - whereas here we focus on performance enhancement.
(Not really that we cant help, but that this forum is a little unsuitable for you in topic).
I would like to ask you a question or two:
How long have you been training with heavy free weights?
What kind of symptoms presented themselves that led to your being on anti-depressants at just 20?
(also depending on the method of delivery, 50mg of test a day IS actually quite a lot. Significantly higher than the 10mg endogenously produced. As i said though, i dont know the bioavailability for such products, i THINK technically it is very very high, but due to sweat, oils, clothes etc it is reduced significantly).
best.
