Test Taper on First Cycle?

Hello Everyone.

I have just completed my first cycle, which consist of:

Test E: 300mg E3d for 10 weeks

Dbol : 10mg taken 3xd for 6 weeks

Adex : .5mg taken EOD

I have gained 23 pounds since the start of this cycle, and I know as I am coming off I will inevitably lose some of these gains. I have Clomid and Nolvadex, but this cycle was aimed at using nolva at 40/40/20/20 two week after my last injection.

I understand the whole Test Taper Protocol, and I am wondering if this would be a smoother pct instead of what is planned thus far?
The only thing that I am concerned about is the fact of taking more exogenous Test for this method of pct. My main question
is if this method would be overkill for a first cycle of this nature?

I am currently: 187lbs, 12% BF, at 5’10
I have lowered the volume of my workouts this week, and I plan on going 4 days a week instead of 5.
Calories are around 3850 to 4000 thousand everday, but I am considering lowering carb intake on certain days.

Thanks in advance for any information on this matter.

Why not do both then? You can still do the “stasis” and then use the nolva while you taper off simultaneously. I know its your first but speaking as someone who has done virtually no PCT when I was uneducated; used SERM only and used Taper with and without SERM, I vigorously encourage you to do the taper and since you got the nolva might as well use it.

Thanks for sharing your previous attempts saps. The reason I asked about the taper is that I am planing another cycle at the end of April or May. Would the taper method not shut me down longer, and extend the time off for the next cycle? Also would primo depot work with test for stasis/taper method, or should I just use the test? How was your experience with tapering?

You used steroids at 5’10 164 lbs?

Yes I Did. When I originally starting lifting weights, I weighed close to 140. You see, around that time I had quit amateur boxing. I was involved with this for 5 years until I was 18. While i was a boxer I never lifted weights, I only performed body weight exercises and worked on endurance. When I quit boxing I really got into strength training and started doing routines from Starting Strength when I was around 19.
Since then I have tried routines like ws4sb, 531, and other similar training methods based around compound lifts. I gained about 25lbs since then, which I am pretty proud of. I was never an under eater, I knew from the start that an ample amount of calories is the key to muscle gain.

For about 7 months I had a hard time progressing in mass gaining, so I started researching the use of AAS. I know many will disagree about using AAS at this body weight, but then again most of my family members are structured tall and very slender. My goal Is to weigh around 210.
