Test Prop is Good - My 1st Cycle

I need a bit of advice from the VETS.

As you are aware, I am currently running the Prop 125mg EOD, or 500mgs a week. I plan to do this for 8 weeks.

Would I be better off (Gains wise) to reduce the cycle duration to 6 weeks but increase the dose of prop? Or should i just stick to 8 weeks at the milder dose? I am currently in week 3…

I don’t know that I’m a “vet” but I’ll offer my advice anyway.

500mgs a week of Prop for 8 weeks should be fine. You could possibly extend it to 10 weeks but I’ll bet you see great gains in 8. Don’t get greedy or start changing your plan midgame.

Im certainly not the BBB as far as “vet” goes lol but i’d agree with Cortes on this one, dont change half-way through, i think sticking with your 8 weeks is a good idea. IMO The slight dose increase you would have wouldn’t out-way the positives for the increased time on.

Ok guys.

I’m halfway through my cycle.

Things are still going along good,
weight is up in total, 16lbs so far and counting. Strength gains are less significant however, but endurance seems up.

In other news, I injected my quad again and it has probably got infected as well! (Refer to my other thread.)

For people who have used Prop before, what can I expect? Will the gains continue, or will they come to a screeching hault soon?

If I can get to 20-25lbs by the end of the cycle I will feel very content.

16lbs in 4 weeks??? That is awesome, lets see how far you go, and how much of it you can hold onto… outstanding. what does your diet look like?

I hope I can hold onto a considerable amount of it, losing it will be very depressing. Diet on a good day:

Meal 1: Protein shake, 800mls of milk with 2 scoops of protein powder.

Meal 2: 4-6 eggs and oats with milk.

Meal 3: Can of tuna.

Meal 4: 2 chicken breasts, 1 egg, cheese, in a sandwich or bun.

Meal 5: 1/2 roast Chicken with some potatoes.

Meal 6: Big Steak or big portion Diced beef with beans/peas or some other vegie.

Meal 7: Big tub of cottage cheese AND 3 glasses of milk or 800mls milk with 2 scoops of protein powder.

2-3L of water a day as well.

On a bad day, I might miss 1-2 meals, or eat junk. I might have 1 to 2 bad days a week max. Junk= McDonalds, KFC etc haahah.
But overall i’m pleased with my discipline on cycle.

On a side note, training has been 4-5 times a week, depending on how my body is feeling, a lot of deadlifting, benching, squatting, millitary pressing, with some isolation movements thrown in here and there for variety.
