I’d say it sounds like enth. Enth can be anywhere from white to yellow to a beige color, so far as I know.

Agreed. I saw some enth a while ago that was almost like a paste. Very thick, yellow tinge. It varies a lot.
I’ve never used sesame oil for anything but cooking, so I may be wrong here but if the oil was from toasted seeds it has a relatively low smoking point which, if heated as the OP suggests, could have caused some oxidisation in the oil itself. Add to that the yellow colour of this batch of powder and I suppose a red colour could be attained.
Given the seemingly unlikely chance of a mistake in the order being made, I’ll go with enanthate too.

If it is, I have no idea why your oil would be so dark.

I was going to address the oil too.
its possible tha the “burnt” the oil when heating it.
it wouldnt hurt the test I dont think. but then again I have never used sesame oil for this either.
I skipped a few of the posts before getting to the end here however from reading between the lines I do know of someone who purchased some test E powder likely from the same place that you did. It also came out a dark yellow/orange in colour and the powder did in fact start off much darker that what my friend was used to seeing well.
Finished product was found to be just as effective as anything users have tried in the past as well.
