New here. Recently 21, ran several cycles before this. Sitting at 6’1 240lbs about 15-16% bf. Want to compete Classic Physique, want more size.
Last cycle: 750mg Test E wk - 375 EQ wk - 150 Tren E wk - added Drol last 8 weeks 50mg ED pwo. Thinking about running test anywhere from 750mg-1000mg wk - Deca 350mg-500mg wk - if orals, Dbol 50mg ED or Adrol 50mg ED and potentially taper that up to what is tolerable for me. I have a strong tolerance for orals. Would adding EQ to this stack as well at around 500mg be pointless? I have extra vials and was thinking of using them, but I know it’s not a synergistic compound in relation to the others and also want to see what Deca does alone. Considering adding in GH as well at 4iu/day and taper to a tolerable level. Any advice is appreciated. I am aware of the ancillaries I may need to run and obviously already have supplement stack etc. I’d say I’m pretty well read regarding gear, but want personal anecdotes.
You sure like high doses of AAS. Post a few pics if you are willing.
These images are scattered around in time. I don’t think I’m too far off from stepping on stage and being competitive, but I feel I lack variable size compared to pros. Concerning my dosages. First ever cycle was 250 test C plain. Stayed there for another cycle as well. Then 500 test 250 EQ and been tapering up since at a 150-250mg addition of test.
All those pros started somewhere when they were much smaller as amateurs then they are as pros.
IMO, look for a show not too far off and compete. Experience on stage can only be acquired “on stage.”
From your pictures you look big enough, though it is difficult to see your leg development.
That’s what I was thinking as well. Experience is gained from just putting myself out there and doing it. After this bulk cycle I’ll most likely sign up for a show and do a full prep. My legs are pretty well developed IMO, always been a strong suit of mine genetically. Couldn’t find any pics, they’re buried somewhere. You have any advice/critiques however on my cycle design?
I am not much help with your AAS use. The most I used was a total of about 600mg/wk.
I do have quite a bit of on stage experience. My guess is that I competed in about 60 Bodybuilding contests. I started doing poorly and built up to doing more than a few National level shows. And a couple International Mixed Pairs Shows.
I was an NPC National Judge for a few years.
There are a few nuances to peaking for the stage that are best learned by actually doing the shows.
Ok. That’s the main disadvantage I think for me as compared to vetted competitors. Idk how exactly I’ll respond to everything when manipulating macros/water/sodium etc approaching stage time. Any tips/recommendations about what you like to see on stage from a competitor as a judge. Or what you tend to notice in most of the competitors that win.
There are a multitude of things that I look for.
I can help the most from pics that you post. I can tell what looks good and what might help to improve what doesn’t. Posing can be a lot of deception, that is, displaying your strong points while masking your weak points to make the pose present you better than you actually are.
Do you have a coach with a proven success record of preparing men competing? There are a multitude of mistakes that you can make.
If you like I will critique any pose that you post. Make sure you tag me when you do post a posing pic so that I don’t miss it.
Most definitely, I understand it is a lot of illusion and the importance of posing as compared to a solid conditioned physique. I currently don’t, and haven’t in the past. I recently moved to the NL and am looking for a solid coach out here for when I am done with this growth phase. I appreciate the responses and am sure this won’t be the last time we talk ![]()
Let’s analyze this pose. Your erectors, traps and delts pop real well. The problem is that your lats, teres major and rhomboids are over shadowed by your erectors and traps.
You need more thickness in those lagging back muscles. At this point it gives your back an unbalanced look.
Also, it looks like you don’t have control of your scapula. When you slip your lower scapula out your lats will get a spread look, making them look wider than they are. You really need to spread your lats when doing both the front double biceps and back double biceps.
And obviously you need more detail in you back, but you know that.
Your pants give your legs a long and lean look. To be completely fair, there is no way of knowing with them covered
I appreciate the analysis and feedback. I attribute my overdeveloped traps and such to being a Division 1 linebacker for 2 years (only way to protect my neck basically). But yes it does overshadow everything else which I am aware of, I’ve been working on that muscle imbalance for a while. This picture also conceals my legs bc of the pants, but it is also 7+ months old. Legs have developed more since then for sure. Those pants are also 2xxL so pretty baggy
