Hey guys,
I recently began my first cycle, deciding on 400mg Test E per week. My first pin went smoothly, but my 2nd pin today was a bit of a nightmare. The issues were:
1. When drawing the test and pulling back to 1ml, the plunger kept moving forward and landing on around 0.5ml. In the end I had to draw way back in order to get the 1ml needed as it kept moving forward. What do the think the issue was here?
The only things I can think of are that (a) the plunger wasn’t pushed all the way forward to begin with, or (b) the syringe wasn’t completely upside down when I started drawing.
I injected 1ml of air into the vial before drawing, so pressure wasn’t an issue here.
2. After each of the 2 unsuccessful drawing attempts, I injected all the test back into the vial before trying again. I used the same drawing needle throughout (1 draw/re-injection into vial followed by this same process again). Will I have ‘ruined’ the test e by doing this? I don’t believe my hand brushed the needle after either draw before re-injecting into the vial, but can’t guarantee this. Is it OK to keep using the same test vial or would you stay on the safe side and chuck it to avoid possible contamination?
3. After pushing the injecting needle into my thigh, I needed to slightly alter my pinning position, but lazily re-used the same injection needle rather than uncapping and replacing. I appreciate this is poor practice, however luckily the needle didn’t break off or anything upon 2nd injection, and there’s no PIP or infection now - do you think that means I will have got away with it on this occasion? And will all the test still be metabolized properly, even if the needle wasn’t quite as sharp second time round?
Thank you very much!
