@anon18050987 with all of the best knowledge as usual!
So below is a screenshot of a random website I found, but I checked a couple of others after and the information is close enough that I feel I can justify using this one. According to this, before I jumped on AAS I was between Class I and Master, which would’ve actually put me closer to the 75th-80th percentile
This USAPL chart shows a similar number. I wasn’t 231 at the time, probably more like 240, but I certainly wasn’t 265 either. So I think 75th-80th would be a good number.
Damn, if I count gym lifts, I am 2 lbs off from elite. Although, after the nerve injury, I can’t do the bench to get me that total anymore. Would still be on the high end of master. I did the squat in wraps though. With my current bench, and sleeves I am still in the master class. Not natty though.
I am at the point in which I am “all in” with respect to strongman. The only thing I won’t sacrifice is my short term health and my family. I am also trying not to be wreckless though, as I still want my long term health to be in tact as well. but obviously running higher levels of nandrolone and trenbolone will have some impact on that. I am, however, running a gram of total gear at this point, which is high(er) but certainly not extreme. I’ve known some guys to run close to a gram of just tren (WTF!!) not including other compounds
I cannot tell if the insomnia I had last night was due to the increased NPP, or because I took too much caffeine and was still super hyped from my workout. But I only slept about 5 hours last night, and I am REALLY good about sleeping 7-9 hours. I’ll update this more as I know/experience/feel more.
This update is more about my body composition than anything. I woke up at 233.6 this morning. I started out my cut at 247 back on July 5th. In one month’s time, I have dropped 13-14 lbs, AND I am still getting stronger and faster in the gym. I am sure the anabolics are assisting with this quite a lot, but DAMN it feels good.
My wife took a coupe of photos of me this morning (that I won’t be posting) that show how lean I am. I have one stubborn area of fat, right over top of my bottom two abs, that just won’t go away, though I am sure it will as I continue to lean out. But I have full on obliques showing, top four abs plus the V shape thing. This is by far the leanest I have ever been in my life, including 4 years in the USMC.
I am going to try to cut all the way down to 231, and from there work on recomp. Initially my goal was 240, but if I can avoid a water cut, and losing this weight does not affect my performance in the gym or competition, then that is the smartest route to take. It will be REALLY nice to walk in on comp day and just be at weight instead of having to worry about water cutting and refeed.
I can say that I do not have NPP induced insomnia, it was just one night of poor sleep because of too much caffeine and too much hype at the gym.
This morning my weight was sitting right at 235. I know this is heavier than I last reported, but 5 days ago I was 236.4 and then 4 days ago I was 233.6, so I figured there would have been a bit of a bounce back. It would’ve been physically impossible to lost 3 lbs of body mass over 24 hours.
I need to update the title of this thread to included bold cyp. I was recommended to use EQ, but with only 9 weeks left, that is not enough time for EQ. Plus if I don’t like it, obviously Bold C will clear much fast than bold U. Apparently MANY strongman competitors run boldenone, for the increased endurance, (slow) lean mass gains, and I think it’ll work great to help combat E2 from the test and MENT. Then I could back off of the AI/SERM. The one thing I don’t need is increased appetite though haha. But that is just one more thing to help build mental strength.
My plan is to run 595/399/399/42 test/NPP/Bold/MENT. All of these numbers are divisible by 7 and my syringes are in .01mL increments. Since I am pinning everything daily, that was about as close as I could get to 600/400/400/40. (Actually I could use test at 602/wk, but I won’t).
How are you liking the MENT so far? What effects have you seen? (I realize that it may be tough to differentiate between the effects from the MENT and the other gear.)
The only real effects I have seen so far from specifically from the MENT are greatly improved mood and sense of well being, and estrogen sides. Overall with this cycle, I am getting much leaner (247->233 in 5 weeks), faster and stronger. How much is the MENT vs the NPP and test? I can’t really quantify that.
But the mood improvements alone are more than worth running it. NPP usually gives me bad mood sides, but that hasn’t been the case at all while running MENT. I have 10 days left running NPP, but since I bumped it up, I don’t think what I have left will last more than 5, and that’s ok by me. I’ll take 5 days off and run test/MENT only before jumping on tren for 8 weeks. We will see how my body responds to MENT/tren combo (I have read anecdotes that MENT/nand is different than MENT/tren).
Yea, I am excited to see how I do with tren thrown in there. It’ll definitely be on the higher end for a tren dose. Running 400 ace/wk is about the equivalent of about 560 enth/wk, based on ester weight. From what I have heard of some people running, 400-600/wk is still a moderate dose, but it’s high for me.
I was making decent gains at 280/280/42 test/NPP/MENT and have only been running this increased dosage for about a week now, so the test isn’t up to full blood concentration yet. Unfortunately I think I was a little too late to make the most of the NPP, but that will not be the case for the second half of the cycle.
This bold cyp is coming in MCT oil, which about 40% of the time gives me mild PIP as it is. But I am mixing the stuff I am running into a single syringe with GSO based gear too, so hopefully this will help
Weight is down to 232.2 and strength is still going up (slowly). I think I only have enough NPP to last me two more days, which isn’t too bad since I am only cutting it 5 days short and started it 3 days early. I’ll just start the tren a little early and I have more than enough to finish the 8.5 weeks left once I start.
I was set to hit a huge PR yesterday on yoke, going 120’ @ 650, I was primed to hit something like 42s (previous PR is about 57s) but at about the 90 foot mark I got a little too close to a roll around fan, the yoke hit the fan and spun me, and I dropped the yoke.
The bold came in today so I added that in today. So far no PIP, but as I write this it has only been about 9 hours since I pinned it.
My nutritionist told me that she was going to have me in a deficit for the rest of this week (until next Tuesday) and then I’ll get to run maintenance cals. I am not sure how long I’ll be at maintenance, but if I hit my goal weight by next Tuesday (231.4) I may get to run maintenance for the foreseeable future.
Also, the increase in test and NPP, even with the decreased MENT, has made my gyno a little harder to control. I have not had high BP or ED issues though, so I am hoping the bold helps reel things back in a little bit. Then dropping the NPP for tren should help as well.
I am on day 3 of 600/400/400/40 test C/tren A/bold C/MENT. I ran out of NPP 4 days ago so I just picked up a few days early with the tren. I initially thought about waiting to start the tren, but the only reason I had it set up the way I did was because I thought that I had 8 weeks of NPP.
I hit a huge PR yesterday, and had an overall great training day. I hit a single at 285 on the axle clean and press at about an RPE 8.5. Not only was this a 15 lb PR, but I set my old PR at about 30 lbs more bodyweight (I woke up at 233 yesterday and I was about 265 last time I hit 270).
I also got to mess around with the wheelbarrow a little bit and hit a double at 607 (weird math but based on leverages that what the weight came out to be). The wheelbarrow is quite a bit heavier/harder than the trap bar. I hit 640 for 4 on that easier than I hit 607 for 2 on the actual wheelbarrow.
Overall, this has probably been the smoothest cycle I have run, even with the increased gear amount. The only side I am having is a little bit of gyno, but that is stabilized and under control. I think cleaning up my diet even further (i.e. not binging on the weekends) has basically alleviated me of pretty much all sides I had previously on other cycles.
I should’ve mentioned, I’m taking .25 mg adex EOD and 20 mg nolva daily. Im hoping that adding bold and dropping NPP for tren helps alleviate the E2 issues.
EDIT: forgot to add that I am also taking 300 mg P5P split into two doses (200 morning 100 evening). I have caber on hand but have yet to use it.
No big updates today. I just wanted to mention the gyno is starting to recede a little bit. I did take .5mg caber yesterday, which was probably a little bit of a mistake because now I don’t really know what is helping the reduction. As of now there are 3 things contributing to less E2:
Removal of NPP (5 days ago)
Addition of Boldenone (8 days ago, it is cypionate ester so it could finally be reducing E2)
.5 mg caber (I really don’t know how much it helped since I am running P5P at 300 mg/day)
So I am glad the gyno is going away, I only wish I knew what it was that was causing that reduction.
Here is a pic from 11 Aug, at about 234. This was the day before I started the tren. I’m interested to see how much of a change there is myself. I think last tren cycle I was a little too fat to see much body comp change.
I usually take 100-200mg P5P a day cos I’m on Subs & trying to keep PRL low. Few weeks ago I was feeling off (could have been many things) but I dropped the P5 and decided to take .25mg of some ollldddd Caber I have. Next day I’m energized, happy, libido and nipple tenderness gone. Now I’m questioning if the P5 was even contributing to anything. Sorry I know that’s a bit of a tangent, but I use to swear by it, now not so sure
Removed NPP and replaced that with tren. When I started this cycle I actually hadn’t planned to cut nearly this much (240 was my goal, but my nutritionist pushed me to go down to 231, and I’m glad she did). If I had known I was going to cut so much, I probably would’ve run the tren first and then the NPP, or just tren all the way through. Either way, strength being my number 1 goal, I think tren is the best compound to end the cycle with going into my competition.
In my mind, switching compounds will help mitigate sides? Idk if that’s how it really works or not, but that’s how I chose to do it with that in mind.
At my initial check in I mentioned I used PEDs. She never asked a single question about it. She is accustomed to working with all levels of strength athletes. I actually signed up with Hybrid Nutrition, and so far she has challenged everything I thought I knew about nutrition. I have argued with my nutritionist a few times, but every time her suggestions have turned out really well for me even though I thought I knew better.
