I have tried desperately to find an answer to the question I am about to pose. I have searched this forum and many others and scoured the internet and have come across a lot of misinformation and conflicting reports. So I come to you guys.
Here is my question, a Dr years ago diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. Did the whole pain killer and muscle relaxer thing for years before I got fed up and decided to try just getting in better shape. Found a lot of info that stated Fibro and CFS may have something to do with low T levels. Well about 6 months ago I started D-aspartic acid and took it for 2 months. While on it my symptoms were gone and I needed no pain meds or anything.
When I took myself off it, because I assumed I should cycle it, the symptoms returned. So I waited 2 weeks and went on Alpha Male for 3 months. I saw somewhere in these forums that 3 months was the recommended max time for taking Alpha Male. Again while on Alpha Male, symptoms gone. Well it has been two weeks since I took myself off it and today, symptoms returned with a vengeance. Got out of bed to horrid back pain that won’t go away.
It is a feeling I haven’t had since before the DAA. I would love to go and get my T levels checked but I don’t know how and I started my own business this past year and don’t have insurance.
So my question, do these natural test boosters need to be cycled? Can they cause a shutdown of natural T production and possibly be making things worse for me if I take them too long? If they do need to be cycled is taking DAA for 2 months and Alpha Male for 3 and then back to DAA for 2…and so on ok because they work differently or will I eventually shut down my T production?
If it helps…a little about me:

the closest thing I have to blood work is I just got approved for a life ins policy in which they drew blood and all my levels fell in normal range (unfortunately they did not test my T). This test was done while on Alpha Male.
