Test and Fertility

Congrats man. I have 4 myself. The youngest is my only boy. There’s no greater call on a man than to be a good dad. We had a hard time getting pregnant the first time which I always figured was due to my aas use. But they came easy after that. Lol

Thanks man! I agree. Priorities totally shift. I played hockey in college and my oldest girl is becoming a beast on the ice. Talk about pride! Haha. Raising good kids is crucial. My wife and I constantly see shithead young adults and feel like if our girls end up that way we failed haha. So it’s def hardcore parenting. But it’s so fun too. I wish some younger guys on here would think about long term and the possibilities of family before they fry their endo system out at 19 to be a big bro lol.

Curious what your TT and FT are on your 250 cruise? I just reduced my trt dose because my last labs came back significantly high on my 200 weekly dose.

Congrats on the newest addition to your family.

Congratulations! Fertility is something that is ALWAYS on my mind. Being only 26, I jumped on self-prescribed TRT around 1.5 years ago. Its been really good for me I just hope that when I dont want to have kids I don’t have too much of a problem.

Off-topic, whats the absolute lowest you could run EQ and see benefits? You may have noticed from some of my posts I am an advocate of very low doses. Something like 200mg/wk?

Thanks man!!! Basically with eq I look at it as a low aromatizing testosterone. If you want to augment your trt you can use low. 200 would def add to your current regimen.

Does EQ have a positive effect on libido like test does (just curious), because it’s less androgenic than straight test.

I think it’s ok. If you’re after libido effects a small amount of potent androgens like tren are wonderful haha

I’ve heard masteron can improve one’s libido significantly, not sure how that’d work though, it’s androgenic rating (on paper) is very low. Also why do some compounds, such as primobolan, stanozolol and drostanolone cause excessive hairloss in those predisposed to it if they have low androgenic ratings? Is it because they are still derived in DHT, and DHT signals the scalp to stop producing hair follicles, and if this was the case, wouldn’t anavar cause lots of hair loss in those predisposed as well? Personally I’m not planning to take any of these BTW (I wouldn’t, I believe many DHT derivitaves may be able to dry out joints, and I don’t need any more of that) I’m just curious and slightly bored so I figured i’d ask this question. Also, if drostanolone increases libido, why doesn’t stanozolol or primo?

Good question man. I think that you’ve touched on something important - paper ratings mean nothing and each user responds differently to each compound. It’s why ideas of set ranges or statistical levels don’t always correlate to the patient in terms of response or feeling. Masteron and proviron give some guys amazing libido bumps and manage to crash others libido. Some guys go bald and dry out on Winstrol and some guys hit PRs or use throughout the entire athletic season with zero problems. It’s just user dependant. Frustrating as hell when you’re the one prescribing hahaha

Interestingly enough (about winny), based on a few small studies it doesn’t seem to be as harsh on cardiac tissue when compared to other, less exotic compounds like test or deca. Treadmill Exercise Training Prevents Myocardial Mechanical Dysfunction Induced by Androgenic-Anabolic Steroid Treatment in Rats - PMC This study shows stanozolol at a super low dose combined with treadmill exercise prevents cardiac dysfunction (5mg/kg/week) so HED is super low, something like 72mg per week for a 200lb male. This study Anabolic-androgenic steroids induce apoptotic cell death in adult rat ventricular myocytes - PubMed shows testosterone induces significant apoptosis in (rat) left ventricular myocytes at a concentration of 1 micromolar while is takes 10 micromolar for stanozolol to achieve the same effect. Granted it is nearly impossible to get a concentration of 1 or 10 micromolars of test or winny in the bloodstream, I believe drugs have different concentrations in tissues than they do in the bloodstream therefore I have no idea how high of a dose this study equates too. However is seems 5/mg/kg of test (or nandrolone) weekly in rats causes widespread cardiac fibrosis, dysfunction and LVH, I highly doubt 72mgs of test PW in humans would cause any issues which leads me to believe rats may be more sensitive to the cardiac effects of AAS than humans are. I find that interesting, considering winny is so much harsher on cholesterol than other steroids, one would think it’s harsher on the heart (however cardiac remodelling is dependant on other mechanisms). I personally wouldn’t touch the stuff with a 247 trillion foot pole. Sorry if I’m going too off topic here, I’m not sure where I’m supposed to share this kind of information, I could create a new topic but then there’d be like 5 new topics a week on studies and stuff.
