Well, compared to “you know who” he probably has better people skills…
And less developed legs…

You guys are so off base it’s ridiculous. Once upon a time, X was a genuinely helpful guy. His no nonsense attitude and advice was appreciated. People respected him because his advice was solid and he had the size to back it up.
But then, something fucking snapped in his head. His posts degenerated from helpful advice to tantrums that would put a toddler to shame. He couldn’t grasp the concept of pre-exhaust. He gave out advice on how to cut to single digit body fat despite never doing so. And he created countless after fucking countless thread after thread about natural bodybuilding limits. He wanted everyone to sing praise that his way was the only way, that he has been making infinite progress. (Brb I gained 5 lbs and look leaner at this weight.)
God help you if you posted an opinion contrary to his. He would spam post after post, ignoring logic used against him and suspending logic when talking to others. Dude would say countless times that there was an agenda against him, that a possy of unruly Tnationers would collaborate on how to make him appear illegitimate. Rather, he did this on his own.
Put LIMITS in the search bar and see for yourself.
I have no idea what happened to him. He would predictably derail every thread he entered and was unable to see that he was at fault. I’ve never seen such pathetic behavior from a 40 year old man, and I genuinely hope he seeks professional help for his deep rooted issues. Until he does, good riddance to him.[/quote]
While maintaining the point of view that each individual’s opinion of him is purely subjective, i gotta say this.
This is a public forum. He was free to post what he wanted just like any other person is free to do the same.
In end the option to ignore his posts or not open a thread started by him was there as well. How on earth could one get butt hurt if one simply chose to exercise these options?
The T in Tnation still stands for TESTOSTERONE right?
And where are the most vocal of his detractors now? You would think that after all the whining about him ruining the forum, in his current demise, they would be starting topics of interest to dispense useful advice and knowledge which he supposedly prevented them from doing.
I think it’s funny and slightly pathetic that some bbers take a shit on muscular celebrities because they don’t fit the bbing mold.
One might think that having jacked actors might validate bbing somewhat?

Well that just about sums it up nicely.

Twas awkward to watch at work earlier.
I think X just got off on pissing people off.
A lot of his arguments made no sense from what I remember. He would say things that had nothing to do with the topic of discussion.
In other words, he was just trolling you guys for entertainment purposes and people paid more attention because of who he is.
I got into it with him a couple times over the years. Never got heated or anything. Every time I had to devolve into “you just get off on trolling people, don’t you?” and I don’t remember him ever saying I was wrong, haha.
Terry Crews has to use his workout time wisely. If he’ll get more acting gigs with a big upper body and the legs don’t mean shit in that department, then he’s going to do what is best for business. Developing legs takes a lot of time and energy, which he probably just chooses to put towards something that will bring back more rewards instead.
Not my personal preference, but I’m not in his situation so it makes sense to me.
To say Professor X was trolling is retarded… that is one of my least favorite things on the internet is considering anybody disagreeing with you to be trolling. Clearly the man was not.
Also, I agree about his detractors. For the most part, some of the least helpful people on this forum. And they are all mostly long gone anyway.
I agree about X actually having good points and his methods producing results. I just don’t understand why we can’t get the same advice from other experienced and knowledgeable posters without all of the arguing and other nonsense. It just seems like people justify the poor attitude by saying, “Hey, it’s a forum. Get used to it.” I just never understood this mentality.
The problem is… we don’t… honestly we have lost much good talent on these boards… there are still good posters… but too many “blind leading the blind” to quote an old CountingBeans thread… and I think that’s a tragedy b/c it is very easy to be misled in this sport…

Loved Austin back in the day. Also, hearing him on older radio interviews, he was always pretty candid about his PED usage, which I thought was cool.
Despite looking good, I doubt his body would hold up as well as it used to if he were to jump back into the ring these days.

Ya, you’re probably right. If memory serves he use to squat around 400 routinely during his time in the WWF. My guess is that’s changed significantly with acting and his age.

He retired because he injured his back. It didn’t HAVE to be a career ending injury, but he was going to have to tone it down in the ring and he didn’t want to keep wrestling if he couldn’t go in with 110% like he had been, so he hung up his boots.

No, its not retarded. It’s accurate.
Lots of people use it as a cop-out excuse when people disagree with them, I get your logic. It’s not something I normally accuse people of doing when they disagree, it lacks honor in a debate.
But it’s what he did. Bringing up things that had nothing to do with what the argument was about and completely ignoring any rebuttal, no matter how much sense it made.
He didn’t ALWAYS do that, but if someone disagreed and challenged him enough, he’d devolve it into something along those lines and it would go on until one side gave up or got tired of typing.
If you don’t believe me, look it up, I’m sure all the threads are still around. Check the thread about Zimmerman, when the shit first started. Prime example, with many more that wouldn’t be hard to find.

Towards the end, this is EXACTLY how things were.
Anybody seen any shitshow threads since the good professor rode off into the sunset?

Negative. Honestly, I stopped posting for quite a long time because every thread was just cluttered with bullshit.

You’ve got to admit, the Predator thread in BSL would be much more interesting with the good professor here…
I agree though, having nothing against X, the tone is much better now.
