If Dante was correct, and your sin determines which level of hell you end up on, I hope ole’ Ted gets O.J. for a bunk buddy. Two remorseless, conscienceless, murderous black men.

Huh?
As low a view as I have of this guy we really should be a bit more responsible with the word “murder”. He did not intentionally or even actively take anybody’s life.
He did act with personally responsible wanton disregard for the welfare of another human being resulting in their death while protecting his own interests. He further used his position to extricate himself from payment for this despicable action. However, this is still not murder, either technically or actually and credibility begins to slide when that charge is unjustifiably pasted to somebody.

Is political correctness really necessary to protect this murderer? Let’s not confuse the issue here.

I trust you speak only kind words for Saddam then right?
mike
You are going to sit here and honestly compare Saddam to Ted Kennedy?
No, you are the one who seems to feel that you shouldn’t speak poorly of the dead even if they are bad men.
That said though, TK was a constant threat to my liberty and harmed me personally whereas Saddam never caused me any harm.
If someone broke into my house and raped my wife should I not speak poorly of him upon his death because his evil is nothing when you compare it to Hitler?

If TK broke into your home and raped your wife, then by all means hate him all you want. But to the best of my knowledge he has not done such an act.
You are comparing someone who has a different political view as you with a rapist and genocidal maniac. Cousin please.
to bad his life didn’t end, like his brothers. where’s a lone gunman when you need one.

No, let’s not. There is plenty to be critical of this lowlife for, but falsely attaching murder to his name in an attempt to amplify his negatives is both unjust and counterproductive. He did not murder anyone. That is a false statement and clearly demonstrable falsehood will never strengthen any case.

He’s not equating the two. He is stating that Kennedy caused him and millions of other Americans personal harm whereas Hussein did not. Therefore why would it not be understandable to hold both in disdain. Hussein was a more heinous individual, but Kennedy actually did damage to this nation and not even as much as he would have had he had his way unfettered.
Once it’s admitted that one person’s death may be met with satisfaction the discussion is open for others as well. That’s what his mentioning Husein was meant to convey. I may not precisely agree, but that’s what he meant.

If you say so chief, wrap this around your brain if you can. Ted Kennedy is a player ( or politician) selected by the coach (people) to play the game of football (politics). He may have lost the game (passed bills that were met with opposition on one side of the party line), but at least he played hard and did the best job any quarterback (democrat) could have done in his position.
And yes, a democrat would in fact be the quarterback in my analogy you moronic twit. Shut the fuck up please.

No, this has nothing to do with political opinion. It has to do with political acts. If he were just another blowhard I’d care less, but the man was a leader who voted to pass evil laws. The laws he voted on were enforced by MEN WHO WOULD PUT ME IN PRISON for violating them. That isn’t an opinion, it’s exerting dominion – using violence. Just because he didn’t have the balls to strap a pistol on his hip to enforce his laws against me doesn’t make him not responsible for those that do.

Do you really think you are informed on that situation to pass judgement with the information we get from the media? I’m certainly not, but I would hazard a guess that that instance was something that haunted him until he died. May he rest in peace.

I’ll give you the fact that it was probably not murder, but it was, at the very least:
First degree involuntary manslaughter
DUI
Leaving the scene of an accident
Reckless driving
Douchebaggedness in the first degree
The fact that he was more concerned about himself and his career than he was about saving her makes it just as bad as murder in my eyes though.

If Bill Clinton was the first black president because of his political views, I guess that makes Ted Kennedy Louis Fucking Farrakhan.
