I’m not a Cruz fan, but when I read that a few days ago I was pretty surprised. I guess when you go in with the idea of running for President you don’t have time to do the work of your constituents. Shame.

Terrible. Everyone gets that Cruz is using his Senate career as a ready-made platform for a presidential bid, but as a result, he had to have known his Senate tenure and performance would come under the greatest scrutiny (especially after Obama’s transition of unimpressive backbencher to president). In addition to not demonstrating policy leadership on important topics, he didn’t even bother to show up?

Are we really that surprised though? The guy has always come across as pretty narcissistic and selfish. He should make for some interesting primary talk though. I have no idea who the Republicans will end up choosing, but the primary battle is going to be extremely entertaining.

It is going to be political junkie pron without question.

I’m so damn excited I can barely contain myself.

Unlike the last time when it was Mitt against the JV squad this field is going to have multiple people who you wouldn’t be shocked to see success. Rubio, Walker, Bush, Cruz, Paul none of these coming out would be shocks. Throw in potential noise from Christie, Perry, Huckabee with a dash of the hypocrisy of Ben Carson and man…

All we need to do is make the primary drinking game. I’m thinking drink when you hear Constitution, Liberty, Freedom, Reclaiming our country, free market, less regulation, what else

I can’t either. Wild drinking days ended a few years back. I still think it would be fun to make the Republican primary drinking game though

Democrats will probably be too boring to waste our time making one assuming H-Dog walks through.

Keep in mind that each of the republican candidates knows that whomever wins the primary will most likely be the next President of the United States. That’s how weak the democratic field is.

I’d be happy with just about any of the republicans but perhaps two. Chris Christie makes my stomach turn. I see him as a democrat in republican cloths.

I don’t see Christie as having a shot. He would have been better running in 2012. His star has faded.

016 Presidential Candidates Test the Waters in New Hampshire.

Larry Wilkerson, just returning from New Hampshire reports on what is on the minds of voters in a state that gets to define the terms of engagement for the 2016 elections

Here again is well known communist and registered Republican Col. Larry Wilkerson talking about his visit to New Hampshire and who he thinks will be running against one another in the 2016 Presidential race. Spoiler alert: Clinton/Bush.

Yes, it has faded and he did it to himself in a number of ways. He began with his keynote address at the Republican National convention. He spoke for about 20 minutes or so mentioning Romney twice along with telling his life story and what a great job he has done in New Jersey. I wanted to vomit. He then hugged and kissed Obama after the natural disaster in his area claiming what a great job Obama has done to aid the state (the point was to promote Obama hoping Romney would lose). Well look he did a number of things that were self serving and at the same time exceptionally stupid. Not to mention his liberal positions on a number of key issues --The man is disgusting.

Since I turned 18 way back when I have never not voted. But, if the nominees were to be Hillary and Christie…oh my I would have a very difficult time pulling the lever for him.

Christie is pretty much out.

Right now, it appears that it will be a battle between Bush, Rubio, Cruz… perhaps Walker (if he gets his act together)…with Rand Paul being the “spoiler”.

Anyone see it any different?

I think it could be more complicated than that. I don’t think Cruz will win because I don’t think he’d win the general. You’ve got some other potenial spoiler type players if Kasich, Graham, etc. run.

I wouldn’t give Cruz as much credit and I’d give Walker more. Other than that you nailed it.
