Other lifts
Deads - 1 quick single at 80%, one heavy session conventional and deficit at 88%, and one good technique session with pause pulls working up to a double at 80%.
All accessories feeling good. Pulling strength good and ticking over nicely. Want to include more OH pressing, but probably in an accessory lift role for now. Floor press is the big back off lift for bench for the next couple of weeks, although the Suttcliffe press today felt like it’d be helpful in working on tightness.

Successful first week back hitting the comp. lifts for DMs. Plan for next couple of weeks will be comp lifts DMs 5 days a week and a lighter variation the other 2 sessions.

Conventional deads
Got hyped up, crushed caffeine, nailed a 220kg pull and jumped straight to 240 to match my all time 105ishkg PR. Got off position off the floor, it moved an inch, and I let go and went flying upright. Not the best outcome butility I wanted a ballsy pull and the pay off wasn’t there.

Dropped to 140kg and did 5 x 2 speed work off a 1 inch deficit.

Up to 140kg for 3 singles. All good. Will use this from time to time. Pads are missing so wrapped my hoodie around the neck area and that worked.

Close grip
Up to 117.5kg for a 2.5kg PR!
