Fuck. I get good grades by writing some outrageous shit and backing it with good research and arguments. Conservative ex-Jarhead in a liberal professors class = fun for all involved.

DD

Most profs I had would give a better grade to those who would effectively argue against their positions than those who merely rehashed the profs opinion. Whether I agreed with my profs or not I always found ways to pick apart their arguements and I was rewarded for it. This is how it should be. People need to learn to argue from a variety of perspectives, including those other than their own.

As for the original post it sounds like she should consider Wesleyan.

And why do you have a picture of a vagina in you avatar hockeychamp?
I ran in to some problems with a few professors on this one.

It occurred when I took a concept that they were presenting and extended it beyond the boundaries in which they had intended it be used.

It also caused some sparks when I took some research, interviewed the M.D. who had done it and used it to prove that the professor had presented the class with an in-valid conundrum, and that the conclusion he had arrived at was based on faulty information, therefore also false.

I probably should have done that in private though, instead of in front of an entire lecture hall.

It used to be spelled ploughed, back when I walked uphill both to school and back…

But now, no, that’s too hard… so it’s plowed. Sigh.

There are women’s teams for just about every sport that men play, (yes, even rugby…check out the pic in my profile) so why don’t you guys play field hockey?

Because we don’t like the skimpy skirts.
But you’d have one hell of a female following in the stands!

You sir, are a misogynist who attracts the worst kind of loser women. You are obviously not man enough to attract any T-Vixens. Your “Golden Rule” is badly tarnished.

She’s already a feminist, and the guys she dates I think produce more estrogen than her… then again, I think thier overweight frames make them susceptible to storing more crap in thier fat cells.

I forgot to mention that she’s a vegetarian, and she tried to convince me it was healthier. If it was better, why don’t the leaders in the field recomend eating vegetarian (Lonnie Lowery, Berardi, etc)?

She’s also confused about the meaning of the word opinion vs. fact. She’ll state something that is FACTUALLY incorrect, then gets mad at me because I won’t let her have her “opinion.” The worst is that my Dad will play along and gets mad at me, but the real fun is when I’m with my Mom and Step-dad who have worked in high positions at United Technologies, Otis Elevator, Carrier, Raytheon, Schdler Elevator, HP, and Ingersoll Rand.

She brought some of this crap up once when we were out to dinner about sociology and all these problems, and she hasn’t even taken an economics class.

DB is right… she needs a bukakiing. Does anyone know where you can sign someone up for the bang bus?

Oh burned…

Seriously though, when he’s on his game, Jagr can be the best player in the world (at least when Foresburg is injured, and the Capitals are in last place…) and the way he plays is obviously great. I don’t admire who he is, but I wish I could play like him.

This was a filler until I could think of somone cooler to put in (Gionta, Burgeron maybe?) any ideas?

Maybe I will though, once the season gets going. The most recents pics of me suited up are from at least 2 years ago.

They are for different uses.

A farmer ploughs a field, but Oprahs minge gets plowed.

I think your sister is still working through her thoughts right now. she gets mad because she knows there is truth to what you say. She just hasnt found out which part she feels is true.

Give her time. Keep arguing your point. do yoga.
