TC's Coffee and Dead Bodies

The 1918 influenza epidemic is true.

yes it is…tc got his free cup of java again…

Very sad but true. She probably turned the color of green tea with milk added.

I see the button saying there is a new blog entry and I get all excited about having something new to read… sigh. Not quite what I’m hoping for.

TC, let the dude point you out, then you can at least get slapped by a stunning woman, and that has to count for something. Ask her for her phone number before you get smacked though… it’ll be fun.

Good point Dave! Probably enhance my image in town.

And Vroom, what kind of stuff were you hoping for? I’m all ears because the blog thing is new for me and I’m not sure I’ve hit my stride.

TC,

Perhaps I’m just a geek who needs a life but I like your trivia-a-day blog. I also liked Lonnie’s nutrition quiz. It’s nice to have a site where you can actually learn something. Shugs’ blogs are fun to read, too.

TC, personally, I guess I’d prefer to read your viewpoint on something. It’s your blog. Put a bit of you into it.

You write a pretty mean article from time to time and if I’m not mistaken have managed to throw in a bit of humor every now and then too.

Is parking a problem? Is the weather not cooperating with your life? Are your shorts too tight? Did you lose money on the game yesterday? When did you last get annoyed by telemarketers? Do frozen turkeys work as kettlebell alternatives?

Anyway, I certainly might be in the minority. Finally, lest I be branded a complainer, I have to say thanks for all the great information on the site! I’ve got the info I need to go where I’ve never gone before… and that is why I’m here.

Vroom, you might be in the minority but you are not alone. The coffee stories were a novelty item at first but after understanding the concept behind them, I don’t know if they are worth replacing what could be an otherwise more humorous blog.

None the less, I am learning new things everyday from your blog and must say I had previously never heard tell of the influenze of 1918. That was actually worth hearing about, as was the Hitler fact, but those would almost be better things to have as a daily poll… At the top of the page perhaps there could be the story and you could vote whether it is true or false and you could see what everyone else’s vote was afterward. There could of course be a discussion thread about it also but it really isn’t quite what I am looking for in a blog. I know it is piling extra work on you but since you already have the “Strange Stories to Know and Tell” (or w/e you called it) thought up for your coffee girl, it isn’t like you are putting that much extra effort thought into your blogs.

Just as there are daily “training tips”, there could be daily “Strange Stories to Know and Tell”… oh, and your blog
