This thread was good reading. So let me see if I got this right. Some newb came on here asking some advice, and you told him quit being a stupid newb and do the 500mg Test E cycle every other newb in the entire world does. He responded screw you and did his thing anyway. And then he worked out hard as crap for 4-6 weeks and concluded the TBol gave him gains? Some of these people are so retarded. Anyone can work thher ass off with perfect gym and diet discipline for six weeks and make gains. That’s not the drugs. I’m guessing the drugs just gave this guy the motivation to work harder and be more disciplined than he had been previously.
Anyways, I googled TBol only cycle because I have some leftover TBol I was thinking about taking. I’ve been told if you aren’t gonna do it right, That is, by stacking with Testosterone, than just Treat the TBol like a preworkout. In other words, pop my 20-40mg before a workout, have fun with it at the gym, but don’t treat it like an anabolic (I.e. like it’s gonna build muscle). What’s the risks of doing this?
Say I workout 4 days a week. Is my natural testosterone gonna be screwed up popping it as my pre workout 4 of 7 days a week? Or is this one of those things where it’s just not worth the risks of putting a drug in your body and just go buy a Redline energy drink instead or something
Eh. Depends on what you think the reward is going to be vs the risk. If you’re on trt then doing it the way you suggested wouldn’t be terrible. Not optimal, but not terrible. It’ll give you a boost and in exchange you’ll get some liver toxicity and maybe some sides (or maybe no sides; you’ve used it before, obviously, so you know how you respond to it).
However, if you are not on testosterone then yes, it will absolutely end up hurting you more than helping you. It won’t shut you down, it won’t turn you into an 80 year old man, and it won’t ruin your whole life. But it will screw with your natural hormone levels and that can have a ton of consequences that you cannot plan for. In other words, the benefits would be small (but maybe meaningful to you or someone else) but the risks are there.
Tbol is interesting because of its history as the anabolic of choice for East German olympians. People always try to justify using it solo by arguing that “hey, those guys stayed on for a full year and look how well it worked”, as if anyone on here is at that level of dedication and athleticism. Yes, the men who competed in the fucking Olympics for the most repressive, authoritarian regime were able to push through the side effects and still win. If you’re going to be sent to a gulag in Siberia if you fail to perform then yes, by all means go ahead and run a tbol solo cycle. You have more than enough motivation to ignore the downsides. But for everyone else? I don’t see the benefits. I like having a functioning libido. I like have a stable mood. Those two things are not guaranteed when you’re messing with your natural hormone levels. Maybe you can take it exactly as you laid out here and have zero issues. It’s totally possible. But if it’s me I wouldn’t take that risk. You have your own decision making process and you have to do what you think is good for you. Just know the risks before you do it and decide for yourself.
No offense, i have done oral anavar cycle before and seriously it sucked (not much result). I experienced low testosterone on the 3rd week and had to either add a test base or just stop the cycle and do pct. I chose to stop the cycle and pct. For the next cycle i added a test base to my anavar and i didn’t get any side effects and managed to gain a decent amount of lean mass.
