Oh, I don’t know, maybe the whole of recorded human history…
IMO there are too many variables it will be some where between every one starving to no one starving .

When it comes down to it, there will always be the have’s and the have nots. And yes, at the very basic level I supposed if you equate poverty with starving, it could go away. However, this thread proves the line in the sand for poverty changes. LOL @ the idea that “facebook” or internet and smartphones is the poverty line now…

Even the poor in America are the 1% in many parts of the world. It would help if a lot of people would take the time to understand that.
The best way to keep someone poor is to give them just enough money to get by.

I understand your hypothesis and a big part of me would agree with you . If you are inferring to the welfare system in America . I would be the first to admit it is broken but scrapping it is not my IDEA of the way to fix it . IMO every one should work for their living and real jobs should pay more than welfare

It will never happen while the victim mentality is being encouraged.
The race warfare: no one can talk about the minorities without being served the race card - this results in said minorities acting out entitlement.

It creates a monster instead of encouraging personal responsibility and desire for growth ( out of poverty ) to claim one’s own place in the world.

IMO it is not racial by any other aspect than socioeconomic affected geography is by in large certain ethnicities.

Why that would be is historical . Cheap land went to lower rungs on the economic ladder .

I think the problem would be our partisan process . If the Democrats proposed working for the state then they would be guilty of promoting Communism and If the Republicans proposed it they would guilty of some equally dastardly deed
