Tamoxifen Citrate Conversion Rate

When people use Tamoxifen Citrate instead of Nolvadex, do you up your dosage? I’ve seen people say they use a 1.5x conversion rate, as in if you wanted to take 20mg per day of real Nolva you would have to use 30mg of Tamoxifen Citrate to get the same effect.

On my first cycle, I just assumed 20 mg of Nolva= 20 mg of Tamoxifen Citrate and didn’t have any problems, but this might be something worth knowing for the future.

http://www.druginfonet.com/tamoxfen.htm I would not worry much about it. Almost no one I know uses the brand name Nolvadex. I think most of us use Tamoxifen Citrate. Considering how much people say 10mg is just as good as 20mg I think we are all ok even if there is anything to this 1.5x conversion rate clause.
