For years I have taken all my vitamins/supplaments after I eat my first meal of the day. My question is does that have an affect on the supp/vit I’m taking? Since I take them all at once ?
I would only take the creatine at prime number intervals on the hour. For example 2:17 or 2:05, but not like 2:20. Of course, adding the creatine into your socks goes without saying.
The thing is you’d need a slide rule to figure out when to take all your pills if you go by the instructions on the bottle, if you’re taking lots of different stuff that is.
I got some fish oil by Carlson’s that is called MedStrength and it’s an actual oil, you just take one teaspoon of it and then I don’t have to choke down any more pills than I do ( I take Animal Pak Flex now and that’s enough!)
Though of course if I were taking HOT-ROX I’d do it on an empty stomach like they say.
I used to take animal paks but I just took what I needed out of it and now that’s why I take that stuff. Just wondering cause some guys take there vitamins different times in the day, which with my job I can’t be worrying about taking 10 pills 10 different times a day.
Some nutrients matter, but the degree by which they matter varies from insignificant to actually noticeable.
For the supplements you listed, I see no problems. Although Magnesium and zinc may compete for absorptions, the fact that there is a ZMA supplement as a mainstay leads me to believe that this competition is insignificant. Aside from that there are no other concerns.
But keep in mind that some supplements do matter; co-ingesting a high-calcium source (protein powder) with said two compounds could be significant, as well as taking some sole amino acids with protein sources. Just do your studying before-hand and you should be fine.
Divide your pill taking into a portion early in the day, breakfast, and the other half with supper. I take a considerable amount of supplements and divide them as breakfast, mid morning, lunch and supper. Works well for me. Certain supplements, like Alpha Lipoic Acid need to be taken away form foods. That I take at bed time, and first thing in the morning.
For years I have subscribed to private newsletters, the best has been Dr Julian Whitaker’s Health & Healing. If you can get his first ten years, which are hard to find anywhere. There was a really lot of good simple advice outlined back then. Well worth the money.
And if anyone knows someone with the early years of Health & Healing, let me know.
Thanks for the replys, one of the reasons why I asked is cause I have been getting headaches after taking them all
but come to find out it’s from the caffeine drinks I was taking them with.
Split them. The water soluble vitamins like vit C and B vitamins are in and out of the system. So multiple dosing is optimal. I`d go with 3 times a day.
I split up multivitamins, fatty acids, and Vitamin D between 2 and 3 sitting to take them all. I am just not convinced that the body can absorb the necessary amounts all at once. I think it would work something like protein absorbtion.
Can you really 200g of protein at 6am and not have any the rest of the day? Could the body absorb enough? I don’t think so. (But I have no evidence)

Yeh I read that people take large amounts of magnesium before bed, why ? [/quote]
Ive never really questioned that but if the likes of Victor Conte makes products like ZMA that are high in magnesium, Ill take his word that it`s ideal to use that supp at that dose at that time. Except…
Im gonna start using a multi thats gonna give me multiple doses of magnesium throughout the day and see if it makes a difference.
