Hey Flip,

I hate to be nosy but I am trying to get my diet down to about 2100 calories a day, and that looks impossible on your diet. I have to be wrong if you got that mid going on.

About how many calories a day are you taking in?
Grams of protein/carbs?

Avocado Shake - Avocado is a fruit after all. Yummy!

Hmmm. From my experience when I counted calories from October '07 to January '08. I would say I am consuming about 2200 to 2500 per day.

This might help you: Go to my 6P40 Quest Thread (link below) and click on the link for my 6P40 quest program. During that program I wrote evrything on a daily basis.

Whoa man 1400 cal a day?! I feel like thats very low to sustain muscle, even for a dude thats 130 lbs.

I’ve been doing my bodyweightX15-500 to cut. This is a whole other animal.

This is incredibly helpful though, thanks Flip.

Yea…that is pretty low. My single goal then was just to get a six pack in 4 months. I did not gain any muscle mass but that was expected. I did the same calculation you did but really a lot of it is subjective to your body’s reaction. I find it very helpful if I have data to analyze when making adjustments to my diet and workout routine. I keep a bi-weekly data on my body measurements (Weight, body fat percentage, lean mass, fat mass, etc) and lifting stats. This is the only way I can know if I am making progress or not and if I need to make any adjustments. It is a lot of work but I rather put the time in recording the numbers and make an educated adjustment than spend hours at the gym blindly. Good luck and PM me if there anything I can help you with.

Here’s my day’s food at work.

Mixed Veggies, Pasta with shrimp, Mixed berries/fruits, 2x thick beef burgers, 2x chicken breasts, and an empty bowl of quaker oats (2 packets)

Nice…Regular white bread (bun) though?

It’s all i could find for buger buns… But it doesn’t matter, i’m bulking anyways. It’s the only ‘cheat’ item in my diet…

I always use whole wheat. (even the pasta)

But your food kicks my food’s ass… badly.

Flipboy! I love this thread.

I will have to start posting some pics too.

I hope Skyzks does some more mushroom stuff.

What did you put in the avacado shake? Was it just Metabolic Drive and avacado?

Yes…Very simple to make - In a blender mix avocado, ice, and low carb. Metabolic Drive (vanilla flavor). I have an avocado tree on my backyard and I have so much of the fruit I don’t know what to do with them.

Here’s where I got the idea from:

I was reading this at work so I decided to post. I’m about to leave for the day so all I got is a picture of the shake, almonds/ walnuts and fish oil I will have on the drive home.

I’ll post some food pics tomorrow.
