This thread is epic

hit the gym that looks like some good shit

Here’s my dinner from tonight. It’s crab and shrimp for a total of 4oz and what was like a half a bag of spinach that cooked down to … well what you see. Garlic and sea salt and in about 10 minutes I am good to go.

4 oz mix of shrimp and crab
1/2 bag of spinach
1 tblspn coconut oil
2 cloves garlic
sea salt.

I see pesto, sundried tomatoes, chicken, and something else green. Is that brocolli? And is that on a whole wheat tortilla?

For flip,

You mentioned you cook your quinoa and store it in the fridge for 3-4 days. I recall reading something about rice being dangerous to store because it emits poisonous spores or something. Is that the same thing? Thats teh only reason i haven’t done this with rice. Seems very useful though.

yup, broccoli it is, and WW tortilla

Heres my carb up “cheat meal” breakfast from yesterday, which also served as my pre-wo meal for my heavy chest/back day. It broke down to-
6 whole eggs (with cinnamon and splenda on top)
2 turkey sausages
3 slices turkey bacon
1 tbsp natty pb
1/2 sweet potato (with cinnamon and honey)
small serving of raspberries
small serving of mango (best tasting fruit ever)
Proteins shake consisting of 1 scoop ON vanilla, 1 scoop Muscle Milk orange cream, 1 banana, ice and calorie free orange drink from walmart

It was the greatest meal ever and I kicked ass at the gym later

I ate all this, then when my roomate got up 20 minutes later I made him breaskfast so he would actually eat a ton, and ended up eating like 2-3 more eggs, another cup of shake, another piece of bacon, a couple more turkey bacon, and some blueberries

Mind putting up the nutrition info and recipe for chocolate cheesecake?

it’s from Berardi’s Gourmet Nutrition Dessert version. not sure if I’m allowed to post it, but guess I did reference it.

preheat 350*

1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 c Calorie Countdown Choc. Milk

mix in blender

4 scoops chocolate protein
5 TBSP PB

mix in bowl or blender

pour into ramekins (mine are 6 oz ones, and made 3 servings)

bake 40-60 mins, only took mine 40 mins

allow to cool overnight in the fridge.

440 calories, I’ll have to get back to you on the rest.

relatively low in carbs and not too bad in fat, high in protein obviously

That sounds amazing. Gonna have to try it deffinitely

1-1/2 Cups Brown Rice and a Can of tuna…3:30 snack, YUM YUM!!

For post-workout recovery, we got Chicken-on-Chicken, and sweet tea.

You folks are making me jealous, I am in San Francisco for work until Friday. My last home made meal was last Sunday morning. I had an omlette this morning and roast tri-tip and vegeatables for lunch, it was alright I skipped the mash potatoes that came with it. I still don’t know what to have for dinner.

It’s definitely a challenge trying to eat clean while travelling. I am doing my best though. I brought my Low-Carb Metabolic Drive and Surge and all my other supplements. I just got back from the gym and I feel good.

Breakfast while on travel - Lori’s Dinner
Omelette - 3 whites. 1 whole, chicken apple sausage, mushrooms, and tomatoes.
Oatmeal
Coffee
I skipped the fried potatoes obviously

Lunch while on Travel - Roasted chicken with fresh brocolli

wished i liked broccoli, that’s a butt load there.

only way i can eat it right now is on the chicken pesto pizza and mix a little in the popeye smoothied :frowning:

Flip what do you do for work? I have to travel at times and it makes it difficult to eat at the times I would like. And when I do get to sit down and eat I want to order every thing on the menu. Also when I travel the hotel gyms lack much equipment so I usually bring bands w/ me and some push up bars to work out in the hotel room. I think I’ve stayed in one hotel where they actually had dumbbells on a rack.

I started cracking up when I read this. good shit.

SWOLOE-- What flavor protein powder you use in the ANABOLIC PIE? And do you think it would work w/o oatmeal, adding flax meal instead?

Yeh it could work without oatmeal, or without flax meal, it was thick enough either way, I just wanted the extra carbs because I was on a carb up day. I used a natural flavor (Grow! Whey) which is kind of creamy. I’ve also used chocolate which is good, and vanilla would be similar to the cream. So I’d go with any of those 3.
