Take a Snap of Your Food

Typical breakfast:
Oatmeal, banana, protein powder and cinnamon.

Small quick tuna salad:
Tuna, whole wheat pasta, tomato, onion, cottage cheese.

Quick and ok food:
Chicken breast, broccoli, carrots.

I live with 4 friends so the kitchen is often occupied. So I try to prepare meals days in advance and that can take the creativity out of the dishes.

Second dinner one day:
Ground beef, onions, carrots and lettuce.

Saturday mid-day snack:
1 cup of coffee and plain milk chocolate.
It was the first (and only so far) chocolate I’ve had in 2009 so it tasted kinda good.
My sweet tooth is almost non-existant but I still like to eat some chocolate a few times a year.

I gave up diet drinks (diet soda, crystal light, etc) and that cured my sweet tooth. I used to drink about 64 ounces a day. I drink tea, coffee and water now. I consider a cup of skim milk to be sweet – and often have that for a “desert.” I’m amazed how much dropping the diet soda helped me give up sweets.

Heh, I’ve never heard of giving up diet drinks curing a person’s sweet tooth before. Pretty neat stuff!
I do drink some diet soda though (pepsi max), rest of my fluids are lots of water and 1-2 cups of coffee a day.
But I am no candy or dessert guy. I’d rather have another plate of dinner than dessert since I love to eat.
I always wake up hungry and wanting a big breakfast to kick start my day.
