That cave system was named for it’s size, it has nothing to do with the mammoth. If you like the animal, you should go to the Royal Alberta museum. When I was in the area last fall, they had a nice exhibit on the mammoth and I think it is still there.

YES! I go there often. I always take the token “standing in front of the mammoth” pic. I think it’s a Columbian mammoth, not a wooly.
Wooly seems to be more “hip”, but columbian is my fave.
I’ll be in Overland Park Kansas for a week in May for training.
Found a 24 Hour Fitness only about 1.5 miles from the training site too.

I’d love to make it but California has spoiled me. I’d be totally lost in Canada. I have no idea how to ride polar bears and protect myself from flying hockey pucks.
