T-Nation Homepage Pictures

I don’t think it’s “I’m not comfortable seeing muscles!!” it’s more like the days where there’s a close up of a guy’s chest and if you have your girlfriend or coworker see it and they chortle and ask what you’re looking at then you explain what T-Nation is and that you’re not in communication with that guy in that picture and/or that you’re not on this site to search for pictures of guy’s chests etc.
It’s not a big deal since I most of the time go straight to the forums, but I prefer when it’s a pic of plates or chalk or something.

Alt+tab, people.

It’s like internet porn has taught us nothing. Sure, it seems a little awkward when you overdo it and people notice you were staring intensely at, seemingly, your desktop background, but that’s where the practiced nonchalance and random folder clicking comes in.
Lesson for the day.

Ctrl+tab will switch tabs in your browser, instead of windows.

Can be handy…
that is sooooo awesome. you rock

Chill out, bro.

Check out my desktop background. Think I give a fuck what anyone thinks? Any time someone tries to give me shit, I finish filing my nails and tell them fit men inspire me to work up a sweat in the gym… and that, if they have a problem with it, they can spot me on a few sets of squat thrusts to see how intense I am about lifting. Nothing homoerotic about it.

Quit being so insecure.

I don’t like it.
And I come to thi site from home, so other people are not a concern for me.
However it is a matter of good taste. If it’s a man site (testosterone nation) than I would prefer to look at man stuff, like chicks and barbells. Good pics of athletes are also quite cool. But why on earth would I be interested in looking at a half-naked man just because? And how on freakin’ earth can people not being interested in looking at buff guys in underwear make them gay? If anything it’s the one’s defending them who seem too interested in the male figure. Do they make me unconfortable? No. Would I prefer to have something cooler to look? Fuck yeah!

Pardon me?

because pictures of BODYBUILDERS on a BODYBUILDING website don’t bother me, no in fact, I like looking at pictures of well developed athletes I’m now the one who is gay? Because I’m inspired by MEN that have achieved elite levels of development, I’m now gay? Because I’m comfortable enough with myself, and LOOK like I lift fucking weights with a shirt on so it’s no surprise to people that see me looking at pictures of bodybuilders, I’m now gay?

Are you fucking people really this insecure or are you just trolling at this point?

I mean, assuming you guys aren’t in fucking high school anymore…

Seeing a man without a shirt on DOESN’T MAKE ANYONE GAY! But bitching about it the way you guys are in this thread, your specific choice of words, makes you sound like insecure little children.

Expressing a preference for looking at something other than shaved and oiled men makes one insecure or childish or homophobic or insecure or whatever? Please.

It’s your choice of words.

You did it again above.

You are so blinded by your fear that someone, for one second, might confuse you for a homosexual you can’t see it.

It is a fucking bodybuilding website. Get the fuck over yourself.

Just for the record, I am not making a big fuss over this, it’s not like I’m afraid of the pics or whatever. I just agree with the idea that that are lots of better pics to put in a site such as this. But since there already is a sex forum to go and fap, I’m not gonna lose my sleep over this.

You are the one putting words in peoples mouths and telling them how they feel. Some call this projecting.

No actually, I’m not. You either:
a) Arguing with me for the sake of it
b) Can’t read or haven’t read the thread
c) Have the problem yourself
d) Think you are quite a bit smarter than you are.

Honestly, what is your screenname a reference to? Be honest.

Secondly, if you can’t tell the difference between someone saying “I would like to see some pics of competitors in other strength sports on the home page.” and someone saying “I can’t stand to look at oiled up shaved men in thongs, people make fun of me and think I’m gay!” then I can’t be bothered to continue this conversation, because you are completely lost to reason.

I’m not projecting, but rather calling it as it is. And some of you just can’t except the truth.

I like the current pic of the samurai at sunrise.

You have zero reading comprehension. I’m done if you are.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Nice try ponche.

LMAO.

Let me translate that for you:
Big Banana wrote:

You have a point, and I don’t have a leg to stand on because 3/4 of the posts bitching about the front page pictures do sound like whiny, insecure little bitches. Oh well, let me try and insinuate you don’t understand some reverent point I’m pretending I made in some bland 7 word dribble post and see if that works.
So now, tell us all, What does your screen name reference? Honestly?

Are you serious with this bullshit? I mean, is it really news to some of you that people looking to get really big and really strong get inspiration from others who have already become really big and really strong?

This is likely why most of you aren’t making much progress. You are on a fucking website meant to appeal to people who are the real “gym rats”, not the pretty boys who seem to only be on this fucking website for the sex forums and the get-a-life section.

You just insulted me and anyone else who looks up to people who have made more progress…and the ignorant thing is you did it as if you wouldn’t get called out for it…as if that isn’t what the fucking website is about.

Why the fuck would pictures of soccer players appeal to bodybuilder? Why would YOU make a statement as if it is strange for me to look up to someone like Vic Martinez?

If you posted a pic of yourself right now, would it enforce my belief that people who do think that way are the farthest removed from what anyone would consider a bodybuilder in the first place?

You know what’s fucked up…having to listen to little shits like you insult me or anyone else like me as if you are a better man than me for it.

Better question…what the fuck are your own physical goals? Do you simply lack any? Why would it be strange on a site like this to see people with developed bodies who are actually showing them off?
Big Banana wrote:

Acting like your “preference” to not see bodybuilders on the front page overshadows the “preferences” of everyone else who actually has that goal is what makes you childish, homophobic and insecure.

You sure do post a lot for someone who gets shot down so often.

I remember a thread about you on T-Cell Aplha. Dude, you’re a beast–it wouldn’t take much to convince someone you were on a lifting site. If they don’t believe after you’ve given them a logical reason [and you LOOK a lifting enthusiast], fuck 'em. I wish I had that attitude of not stressing of things I couldn’t change/people I couldn’t convince my whole life but I’m just adopt that attitude recently. It’s already making life a lot easier.

Although I get the feeling I’m being too serious on a thread that was probably created light-heartedly.

The important thing is that OP is keeping the avatar.

I am getting serious now because the last few posts were serious.

Wasn’t directed at you bro, it was about my post on not caring about what others think. I tried giving life advice to a guy probably twice my age, who probably doesn’t need it.
