Speaking of which, where did Brick go?

He pissed Shugart off and they banned him. Well, not really - his posts just NEVER go through. I talked to him yesterday - we’re going to hang out later this month and go into the city to see Stu’s show.
Ah, I see. I miss his posts.
Hopefully he’ll start a new account and come back. I told him he should do that.

That was the same with me, had to sign up again after 20 posts at most. Then I only occasionally posted until the last couple of years of so, not that I’m prolific by any means now.
You remember back when the forum just started? It seems like as the years go by there are still the same roles that are always present. One person leaves, and eventually another takes their place.
Except X, there has never really been a poster quite like X on here.
Lol - I was here before him. And you probably were too…
But yes - it’s the same ole shit. It’s cyclic - like the music or movie industry. Eventually, everyone is just cannibalizing everyone else. ; )

Yeah, I came to this site when it was just articles. I think there have been at least 3 or 4 “what happened to all the good members” threads.
I have noticed that the more one posts the quicker they end up leaving the site. That’s why I post so little. Like heartbeats, I only have so many and want to spread them over a long time.

Good point. I can’t be bothered with all the horseshit arguing. In 7 years I only have 2600 posts - too much misinterpretation, willful ignorance, arrogance and trolling bullshit for me.
As soon as I start posting more some fuck-wipe will invariably make some insignificant shit personal, which usually kills my desire to interact here. I don’t get off on fighting with teenage morons and 40 year old adolescents… ; )

Brick actually sent me a text yesterday about this,… hard to believe we all basically live in the area and never grabbed something to eat before. Of course the day of a show I’ll usually be half conscious, like when I met CyrusSeven when I competed in Plattsburgh last year. According to him I was a nice guy,… I barely have any recollection of the entire day -lol (I keed, I keed!)

Lol - yea - looking forward to seeing you compete. Should be fun! : )
I remember when 09ers came out of the woodwork BY THE THOUSANDS as the most awful thing to ever happen to T-Nation; at least a few of you ended up being so-so…
The above statement is 100% irrefutable truth and contains no hyperbole or exaggeration of any kind.

There were great things happening on this site in March of 2009. Great things indeed.
