It depends where you go though, but i just know the three worst places are Rio De Janiero, Recife (where the people i know live), and some other place…i think it begins with an O?
Depends on where you are. We’d go out until the wee hours in Salvador and the worst thing that happened while I was there was some little shit stole my watch. Yes, Recife is dangerous, but it’s fucking ghetto anyway, so why would you go there?
Rio is awesome, you just have to stay away from the favelas. Remember there are plenty of places to go ASIDE from Rio, Sao Paulo and such. You’ll get laid just as much in the “interior” as anyplace else, with the added benefit of things being much more chill.
Rio Grande do Sul is safe as houses and has lots of fine blonde chicks (yes, they have blondes in Brazil. Descended from German settlers). Florianopolis, same thing. Campinas isn’t that bad. Minas Gerais, Riberao Preto, etc etc.
The only places I would absolutely stay away from are:
*Recife
*Belem

id only go because like i said, thats where the people i know are. i already told the girl that if i ever go there im not staying in Redife and that we’re going to some island off somewhere, no idea what the name of it is.
not just blondes, theres everything there. lots of japanese too. its like the America of South America…in fact you could say that its the “South” America. oh wow, lol. yea dude i was on the bus and some asian kid was talking to the bus driver and im like wow, this kid sounds IDENTICAL to someone i know and later the kid said he was from brazil after the bus driver asked em.
amazingly enough living in an area where theres brazilian flags on every store and exclusively brazilian clothing stores even at malls, i rarely have any run-ins with em. for one reason or another i keep running into mainly american girls, kinda sucks cause i looooove foreign chicks.
I think its cause everytime i see one theyre speaking portugese so i figure they dont speak any english (cause fuckin no one speaks english here) theyre always at my work but it sucks cause they always have a boyfriend with em and i can barely answer their questions anyway cause i dont know shit about the stuff i work with (i do stock at a petsmart). yea, i really gotta put in more effort for exclusively foreign chicks.
