I’d be ok with it here. I don’t think we need another FF thread.
If anyone has a issue with it let me know.
I ended up decent enough in an 8 man league.
Brady and Kap at Qb, starting Brady
Megatron, Marshall for sure starters with Maclin, Wright, Torrey Smith, and Wayne as my backups (pick one for the WR/TE flex)
Jamaal Charles and Gio as my starters with Ryan Mathews and Vereen as backups
Ertz at TE, several high potential TE’s are still available
Gould as my kicker
49ers D but I picked up Pitts D (dropped Charles Clay) since they were playing the Browns, Eagles against Jags are also still available.
Question: What Flex would you play in week 1? and What D?
PPR or no? And can you only use WR/TE as flex, not RBs too?
Standard scoring, Some heavier weight given to points allowed by d’s and .5 for TFLs. And Flex is a TE/WR only.
I’d go Torrey Smith at flex and Steelers for defense, and that is coming from a 49ers fan. Our defense is cut up right now.
Yeah, I was originally leaning Maclin against JAX but his injuries terrify me. You basically had the exact same idea that I already had so that was a little reaffirmation.
Played against Aaron Rogers in 2 leagues (not this one) but had to deal with Lynch in 1 of those 2. Even though Lynch put up monster numbers I guess it came out about even with Rogers not doing so hot.
I’ll take Dwayne Bowener’s Randall Cobb being roughly equal to my Percy Harvin. Thanks for Harvin, Matty- I suspect he is going to be a gold mine for me until he gets hurt.

I have very strong Receivers and he was expendable, and am very concerned about his injury history. You have to give to get, so to speak. Thomas in a PPR league is extremely valuable, while I know he is in a time share if he duplicates what he did last year I will be happy with the trade.

Story of his career so far. If he ever stays healthy for 16 games, he could actually have a shot at an MVP award. I think it was 2 years ago in Minnesota that he was a leading candidate through the first 5 or 6 games before he got hurt. Some serious talent there, and a great situation in Seattle.

Agreed. I’ve got decent enough flex-able RBs that the trade was worth it to me. I fully expect Harvin to miss some time this year but as we all know from 2012 he is lightning in a bottle. It was good to see they got him involved early and often although they did tone it down a bit with him in the 2nd half last night.
I’ve seen a couple analysts who think Pierre will break the all time reception record for a RB this year. Those Sproles throws gotta go somewhere…

Trizzle. If he can last this season I don’t see a reason why he wouldn’t be within the top 5. He’s got the skills and this is arguably a better rounded team than MIN was while he was there even with the downgrade from AP to Skittles.
Terrible week in fantasy for me in general but I could still pull off the W if Joique Bell goes bananas and SD kicks their way to a win. I’m actually pretty happy with how my TN team did overall despite a possible loss.

Should have started him this week.
I got lucky, I’ll be honest, but I wouldn’t give him up.
Wouldn’t have mattered with Charles, Hyde and the Miami Def combining for 2 points. No way I could start him this week ahead of Luck. No one could have predicted that performance against Seattle.
