I will send the money on the 3rd or 4th of September. I haven’t a penny to mine name at the moment.
Looks like we had our draft in time. Yahoo’s servers have been down today and all drafts have been canceled. They gave my league a message saying that our draft will be Autodrafted. Boy this sucks.

Wow I drafted my last league at 1:30 yesterday. Was not going to do it but I got shamed in by the family ugh.
I dont have time for 3 leagues this year. ![]()
Matty you really giving up AP?
Lol he is available, since I could not get on, he was autodrafted for me, I would have gone forte.
Paid teams updated on commish note section
I tempted to make a play for AP, but I think I am going to roll the dice and stick with two potential breakout or bust RBs in Ball and Ellington.
What about:
Adrian Peterson
Antonio Brown
for
AJ Green
Monte Ball
I also love that this is the leagues 3rd or 4th year. I really think we should get a league trophy that we send around to the new winner each year!

Not interested in trading brown, just AP

Sure Al you have done great over the last few years.
I am also part of 2 8 team 2QB leagues. It changes drafting strategy a little since QBs are valued more (only 4pts for TD though). However it really made me realize how much more difficult a 14 team league is. In the 8 team guys like MJD are still available. I ended up just dicking around the last few picks since I knew there were a lot of waiver claims that would help me throughout the year.

Yea 14 team leagues really favor those who actually know a decent amount about football. Obviously luck is still a big part, but it’s much more fun to be able to utilize 3rd and 4th strong wideouts and 2nd and 3rd string running backs.
One rule that would be fun to implement next year is that the last place team at the end of each week OR the lowest scoring team of the week adds $25 to the pot. We do this in my other league, and it definitely helps keep people active while also sweetening the pot.

Quick question: For non-TNation fantasy football bitching, moaning and general league advice should I start a new thread, put it here, or put it in the NFL thread?
I’d be ok with it here. I don’t think we need another FF thread.

If anyone has a issue with it let me know.
I ended up decent enough in an 8 man league.
Brady and Kap at Qb, starting Brady
Megatron, Marshall for sure starters with Maclin, Wright, Torrey Smith, and Wayne as my backups (pick one for the WR/TE flex)
Jamaal Charles and Gio as my starters with Ryan Mathews and Vereen as backups
Ertz at TE, several high potential TE’s are still available
Gould as my kicker
49ers D but I picked up Pitts D (dropped Charles Clay) since they were playing the Browns, Eagles against Jags are also still available.
Question: What Flex would you play in week 1? and What D?

Yea just use this thread. Other people have already been doing that and we are always happy to comment/provide advice, etc.

PPR or no? And can you only use WR/TE as flex, not RBs too?

Standard scoring, Some heavier weight given to points allowed by d’s and .5 for TFLs. And Flex is a TE/WR only.

I’d go Torrey Smith at flex and Steelers for defense, and that is coming from a 49ers fan. Our defense is cut up right now.
