Go Bucks!

Class of '96

Huge game Sept. 10th

Oh TriGWU, not that it does any good, but the Miami DB was holding Gamble when the ball was in the air, which was when the penalty should have been called, not after the pass was broken up, which looked fairly clean.

If the ref would have thrown the flag earlier there would have not been much controversy. However, he waited to see what the outcome of the play was before throwing the flag. That was his mistake.

Regardless, Ohio State owned Miami that game, especially considering nobody gave them much of a chance leading up to the game.

Good luck to your 'Canes this year, maybe we can get a rematch.

Agreed. Although ESPN has a frame by frame break down of the play and there is very little touching (although there is some) but it stops as the ball leaves his hands. If anything, it should have been holding. However, he did not make that call… he called Pass Interference which, as you and I both know, is an entirely different penalty/yardage.

It’s just a shame that Dorsey had to go down like that when he was such an incredible QB.

In the end I look at it as Miami deserving to lose. Had Seivers not put that one through the uprights from 45 yds out… there wouldn’t have been and OT. Frankly, we shouldn’t have even gone to OT against you guys.

But to lay down another excuse… maybe in the next rematch all your players will have elligibility (Clarett).

P-E-N-N-S-T SUCKS!

That is all.

WOLVERINE ALL THE WAY!!!

GO BLUE!

Well…

The only thing that looked good about the Hurricanes tonight was Wright (QB) and Olsen (TE). Other than that we pretty much blew shit all over the field.

Hopefully we can pick it up and keep going.

Life is good. FSU 10, Miami 7, is better!

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! Seriously, i have seen more difficult field goals made by high school players! Very disappointing…

The AeroStallion replies with only the obvious to this question.

CU 1-0 thus far, should be 2-0 when we go to Crush the Canes at the Orange Bowl in 3 weeks… we’re gunnin for ya boys Trigwu!

GO HUSKERS!

Georgia Bulldawgs!

I may be the only sumbitch on here - but I am a Texas Tech Red Raider fan all the way.

If we could just learn how to play defense- we would be a very, very dangerous team. Just ask Cal.

I will further ruin TriGWU’s day by saying this"

GO BUCKS!!!

class of 2003 and a varsity athlete so i knew a couple of the players pretty well.

i dont like the state of ohio but i love the ohio state university.

Go reggie!! USC baba baby

i went to school with reggie bush and alex smith… smith’s father is the principal.

Trojans!

I’m a Tarheel fan. It’s gonna be a loooong year (every year is since Mack Brown shafted us), but at least I’m still up on all of the Miami fans out there (remember us? you know, the “cakewalk” team that stomped the mighty 'Canes last year). We’re in yet another “rebuilding” year.
I grew up beside VA Tech and they have always been my second favorite team, but now they are conference rivals, so I have to pull against them once a year. I still wear my “sweeter than sugar” shirt, though.

Reason #417 why I hate RainJack.

P I T T LET’S GO PITT!

Even if we did take a nasty spanking from Notre Dame last night, even if our qb has a messed up hand, Pitt is still my school and my team but I hope yesterday is not a sign of things to come.

…Stupid Irish[/quote]

Should’ve seen that one coming when the only Sr. starting DT was out the entire first half of the game and 5 of the 9 DL in Pitt’s rotation were playing in their first D1-A CFB game of their careers. ND’s OL is very, very good, too, which made things worse. I think they played together as a unit for the better part of two years. Wannstedt will get the ship righted, but it’ll take time. I think our DL will be serviceable by midseason and be really kickass within two years if our current recruiting class is any indication.

Preseason Coaches Poll

  1. USC - don’t play anybody; hopefully the Irish will pull the upset; always talk about how good they are; without Norm Chow, the will not repeat. They consider themselves 2-time champs, but I don’t. The owner of the ADT trophy is the real national champ (see LSU 2004 Sugar Bowl)

  2. Texas - overated. Can’t stand their fans and alumni. They think there the best thing since sliced bread. They will lose this weekend in the horseshoe and will lose once again to the sooners.

  3. Tennessee - overated, and they showed it against UAB. When they visit Death Valley, there walking out with a loss.

  4. Michigan - always like em. always good.

  5. Oklahoma - love Bob Stoops. Can’t believe they lost to TCU.

  6. LSU - Goooooooo Tigers!

  7. Virginia Tech - overated. Should have lost to NC State.
8, Miami - can’t believe they lost to FSU; and looked bad doing it.

  8. Ohio State - don’t like em. I grew up with a guy from Ohio and he always talked about how good the Buckeyes were. Ther mascot looks like a penis.

  9. Iowa - might be something here.

  10. Florida - liked the gators since spurrier was there. Happy when they fired Zook and hired Meyer. They will finish 1st or 2nd in the SEC East. No Doubt!

  11. Florida State - the program is just a shell of what it used to be. Don’t look for this team to win all their games this year. They were very lucky to beat Miami.

  12. Georgia - the best team I saw play this week. Shockley looked awesome. My pick to win the SEC East.

  13. Louisville - overated. Should have lost to Kentucky. Kentucky!?

  14. Auburn - happy to see them lose. Isn’t it great to be an Auburn tiger?

  15. Purdue - ?

  16. Texas A&M - what a joke. Speaking of which, anybody know any Aggie jokes?

  17. Arizona State - Tiger Bait!!!

  18. Boise State - nice WAC team. You guys don’t want any more of the SEC, the premier football conference!

  19. California - PAC-10. nuff said (and it ain’t good).

  20. Texas Tech - about the only team from Texas that I will ever root for.

  21. Boston College - good luck in the ACC may fellow Catholics.

  22. Virginia - they will remain virgin national champions.

  23. Alabama - will finish 2nd in the SEC West. Love the tradition.

  24. Pittsburgh - the Small, I mean Big East. Yeah right.

GO IRISH!

UGA Go Dawgs!!!
