If you’re trying to gain mass but need to run 3-4 miles, 3x a week, is it better to run first thing in the day and then lift later?

It doesn’t matter. Do it the way you’ll get it done. I could tell you the perfect training plan to do this, but if it didn’t fit your schedule it would be useless.

If you’re trying to gain mass though, make sure you’re eating before your run.

We can’t tell you the best time to do it, because we don’t know how hard it is for you. If you’re a great endurance guy, it might even be a good warm up before you head to the gym. On the other end, you might be totally gassed afterward.

Well, my wife is trying to lose weight, and I tell her she needs to eat more. Specifically, eat more often.

She eats on average 2-3 sometimes 4 times a day. She doesn’t understand that ating more often is better than eating larger portions fewer times a day.

I think I am giving her sound advice.
