Oh, no, I love the site and have no issue with its treatment of female posters. I’ve been very vocal about that.
Where I made a mistake in making the joke is that I do have a tendency to go after people (in all seriousness) about their generalizations regarding women, the “all women are catty bitches” thing. So I’m sure the remark sounded earnest to many people coming from me. But no. In my opinion the generalizations are flowing the other direction in this case.

I don’t power lift but I was interested in that thread…you should have kept at it. Sometimes people don’t respond but read what others have to say simply because they have nothing to offer the exchange at that moment.

I actually agree with you, i have been viewing t nation for a long time, despite only recently deciding to sign up- and it is noticeable that the forums as a whole are a less hardcore, there is now posts based at entertainment ie ‘flaming’, although this is hard to begrudge due to the inflow of newbs who constantly ask the same annoying questions, and then when the recieve advice refuse it…
It is for the above reasons, i believe, that the t cell was set up, and so i find it ironic that it is just turning out the same, it would be much better in MY opinion if it was left as a serious place for discussion and debate, and the general forums could be used for entertainment? buy hey, i am just thinking out loud.
In regards to you not seeing anything positive about the cell, i have had people PM me saying that they have asked to be removed from t cell by the moderators- i can only assume this is because like you they could not see any positives in the cell. Ofcourse this is not an unfounded opinion, i agree with it mostly, although i enjoyed the debate/fight lol in chris shugarts thread.
