T-Boosters?

was wondering if anyone has taken any t-booster like Alpha Male or TRIBEX im not sure what they really do is it like an oral steriod? has anyone seen great effects from it? and if taken side effects from it? if this has been posted sry for doing it agian was searching the forums but didnt really find anything. thanks for all the help.

It might move your levels from normal to high normal, but it still your T production. Oral steroids are an addition of T from an outside source, so it is nothing like that.

Side effects can range from nothing to an increase in the size of your muscles.

The important thing to do is to get your diet nailed down to get everything you can from it. There is no better supplement than real food. Only after getting the diet straight should you consider adding anything else.

There are no legal magic pills.

What would a normal ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone be in a 20 year old male? I get drug tested for being an athlete so I want to know how to manipulate my T levels so I can still be clean.

The NCAA says this: “for testosterone ?? an adverse analytical finding (positive result) based on any reliable analytical method e.g., IRMS, GCMS, CIR) which shows that the testosterone is of exogenous origin, or if the ratio of the total concentration of testosterone to that of epitestosterone in the urine is greater than 6:1, unless there is evidence that this ratio is due to a physiological or pathological condition.”

I’m curious as to what a normal level would be and how to manipulate it enough to be under that 6:1 ratio.

Why worry about how a “normal” 20 year old would test?

Why don’t you pay for a test test to see where you stand? You might be normal or abnormal. Then try a booster and see what changes occur to you.

Since you have already been tested you have a baseline, and you can’t explain away a big increase as a physiological or pathological condition unless you grew elephantine sized gonads.

Normal is HUGE and varies from person to person

Like above said best to get a baseline then youll know for later in life what is/was the best level for you naturally

Other then that. to get optimal levels, nail a very solid diet, rest and recovery, smart supplementation and training.

My testosterone is only 300 ng/dL at the age of 20. It sucks. This product–

claims to lower testosterone binding to SHBG. Would taking something like this, along with Alpha Male have a combined effect?

Hard to say, I cannot find published research on Divanil in 10 years. The Basella Alba has the same purported function as some of the compounds in Alpha Male, but the efficacy is not supported as well. That leaves the I3C and Rhodiola Rosea which are decent compounds in their own right, but don’t add much to the Alpha Male in terms of synergistic effects.

REZ-V would be a better adjunct to Alpha Male as it will antagonize estrogen and lower levels of estrogen (estrogen raises SHBG, androgens lower it). ZMA would also be supportive of the goals.

Other than these two supplements, you should look to your lifestyle for possible alterations you can make to help the body lower SHBG levels. Good diet, sleeping patterns, and controlling stress levels will allow the supplements to work their magic.

Of course this assumes you do not have an underlying medical condition causing elevated values in the first place as hyperthyroidism and testicular cancer are linked to high SHBG levels.
