Systematic Protocol Testing Log

Haha I haven’t always but I realize now it allows me to converge faster toward an HRT protocol that’ll help me make the most of however much time I have left to live, so that’s my motivation.

I’m gonna run comprehensive yearly labs for my doc in 3 weeks so I’ll get numbers for 0.6mg/day of the Zomacton then and update this thread.

I want to get to 250 pg/mL at least. I don’t know that he’ll prescribe more than 0.6 mg/day since that’s almost 2 iu/day but he’s been very liberal with dosages so we’ll see

I’m gonna guess that it’ll take 3iu to get to the high end of the range and considered “optimal”. But if he’ll Rx that, you’re golden. I might ask my clinic to do the same if I’m willing to pay for the extra kit

I’m really hoping it won’t take that much because I don’t think he’d prescribe up to 3iu, but you could definitely be right.

My hope is that there’s a linear relationship whereby if 0.3 mg puts me at 150 pg/mL, then 0.6 mg will put me at 300 pg/mL.

But probably not…haha

Good news.

My doc said we can go up to 1 mg/day (3 IU) for GH, so my worry that he wouldn’t let me take enough to get to the top of the range is gone.
I won’t have blood test results for another 2 weeks on 1.8 iu/day so we’ll see and go from there.

I definitely have a lot more energy since upping the dose, though. I can sleep 5-6 hours, work 12 hours and go hard in the gym after (I actually can’t wait to get there and start working out) and then have sex for 2-3 hours and feel I still have a lot of energy, so I’m getting closer to where I want to be.

Once I get my blood tests back I’m either going to start neursteroids (Preg/DHEA) or try the compounded cream with scrotal application. My doc switched to it from injections 4-5 months ago and is really liking it, he agrees with me the increased DHT might be beneficial for me since my SHBG is so high.

Still, I think I’ll start with the neurosteroids. I’ve been wanting to test those since I started HRT a year ago now. My DHEA is below the reference range and Pregnenolone is low also, so I might see great benefit from those.

So for now the plan is GH to the top of the range around 300 pg/mL, fine tune Preg and DHEA, and then look into compounded T cream and Test Prop possibly.

After that we’ll see…

Just got results for 0.6 mg/day (1.8 IU) of GH. My IGF-1 climbed to 260, so now we’re talking.

I’m feeling great. More energy physically and mentally. More drive to achieve, sex drive is also up a lot. More than anything mentally I notice that I’m starting to get the thirst for life I used to have in my teenage years and early 20’s. I want to experience as much as I can, I feel much more spontaneous. It’s an amazing feeling.

Another big difference is that I’m dropping fat at an incredible rate. I think part of it is that I had so much room to improve because my natural IGF-1 levels were so low.
But now it’s ridiculous, my gf who doesn’t know I’m on GH has been commenting that I’m getting leaner from one day to the next, and I can definitely tell also.
This is after completely dropping cardio and starting to eat 1/2 a pot of Ben & Jerry’s every night for the last month. It’s honestly shocking, I can’t believe it.
For reference I was already pretty lean at a true 11-12% BF.

Muscles are also a lot more full, tighter. I’m definitely getting stronger as well. Overall so far GH has been nothing short of incredible.
I want to get to around 320 for IGF-1 so I’m going to bump up to 0.8 mg/day (2.4 IU) and see where that gets me, but it should easily put me at 300+. I won’t go higher than that.

I’m also starting Pregnenolone, compounded pharma. I’m going to start very low (10 mg/day) and titrate up every month. We’ll see what happens, but I’m very excited about the potential for the neurosteroids because I’m very low in those also.

I’ve been feeling great for the last few weeks, best since starting HRT.
I realize almost daily how much I’ve changed when I’m in certain situations in which I know I would’ve felt and acted completely differently before.

The depression and suicidal thoughts that plagued me for years are completely gone, and for that alone it was all worth it. But it’s much more than that. I feel alive again, my sex drive is through the roof. I look younger, feel younger and stronger, both physically and mentally.

I’m finally not constantly exhausted anymore and ready to give up on everything because the mere anticipation of effort is enough to crush me completely. My bloods are perfect and my doctor is happy.

My doc mentioned that my thyroid is normal but suboptimal, and that optimizing it could make a very big difference with the brain fog that I still suffer from. He’s on Test, GH and Thyroid med and said that optimizing his thyroid had a more positive impact on his life than both Test and GH, so I’m now very, very curious.

I’m going to finish fine tuning Preg and DHEA, and then I’ll give Thyroid medication a try.

Overall though I’m very happy. This HRT journey is finally paying off after a lot of struggle and a scary trip to the ER. I told myself I’d never give up and I’m glad I stuck with it
