Just watched your pull-up video, first great job, you are crazy strong, second, videos like that should come with a warning for gravity challenged people like myself, one of those “Performed by a trained professional” disclaimers, because seriously I felt my will to lift drain away around rep #5. I was sitting on my couch watching it on my laptop when my wife asked “Can you do that?”, I think we all know the answer to that question.
Great work, glad you’re back.

I’m keen to hear your response to this because I cheat like buggery on facepulls.
I cringe when I hear of you working through pain on the squats. That can’t be a good thing, but I’m sure if I was in the same position I’d do exactly the same.

Thought about doing abs. But decided against it.
Do you squat wide still (hope not!)? Right hip or left hip, and are you righty or lefty?
Unlike you, I am (hope) not injured. But I started getting hip joint pain a while back even though I don’t squat wide. I made some adjustments which I think helped. I can expound if you’re interested.

Definitely allows me to lock in my position better.

Didn’t seem like fun at the time.

The damage is done. For me, squatting with discomfort is better than not squatting at all. [quote]punnyguy wrote:

I have narrowed my stance. It’s my right hip. And I’m right dominant. Squatting narrow is definitely kinder on the hips. I’m always interested in hearing how I can improve.

Yep. My sentiments exactly.
