No puppet dude, it was 305 - 2 big plates, a 35 and a 5. I was soooo close to three plates.

Yeah, better not tell the kids at the Y that squatting makes you want to do sassy things to people that could, in some instances, be called leg humping.

That’s great. Is it your first meet? You’ll have to hunt me down and introduce yourself. There will be a few of us there. Diana will be rooming with me but not competing. I think Court may be there to cheer everyone on as well.

You’re right that I should have taken my food. I used to as a matter of course because I’m not like all the fat bastards that can go for hours without eating. I just wasn’t thinking on Saturday.

I will be there running the computer all day, possibly in a hungover state if all goes well on Friday night. It’s a good place to be because it means I’ll get to see everyone lift, however it decreases my ability to socialize during the lifting. At least I don’t have to feel/worry about all the backroom stress that goes on. I can just relax and push buttons.

You should train with power lifters. I’m the little weak one even among the women. You should see Court squat. Another one of the ladies yesterday is in a heavier weight class but she’s done 375(ish) in competition. She got under 315 and hammered it out like it was nothing.

I should. We don’t have any powerlifters where I am, though, as far as I know. 375 is a lot.

I hit 305 on that last week. I posted the video link to youtube a couple of days back. I went for 315 but couldn’t move it.

Yeah… 'cuz her ex showed up just as she was starting the pull, and she exhaled before the weight broke the ground/ she even started the pull. She’s got 315 no prob… just needs to make a bigger jump in the weight/ less sets prior.

This is just my humble opinion, OB (and everyone else) has more experience in their “taint” than I have in my whole body. She already has it… she just hasn’t lifted it yet.
