This is somewhat old news…but definitely new to me. I’m sure with the vast discussions here about Islam,this has been touched on. But this is disturbing and close to home…so I think it deserves its own thread:
[i] Sarah and Amina Yaser Said looked luminescent in their pink dresses, a pink flower in each girl’s hair. One might have thought the sisters were sleeping were it not for the matching pink-lined caskets that held them.
Their Christian funeral service Saturday(01-05-08) ? followed by a Muslim service later in the day ? served as a reminder of the promise their short lives held and the needless tragedy of their deaths. Police believe they were killed by their father, a 50-year-old cabdriver.
And the police presence was a reminder that the girls’ Egyptian-born father, Yaser Abdel Said,is still on the run.[/i]

The plain truth of the matter is that authentic Islam is flatly incompatible with anything vaguely resembling American culture. They have a “god given” mission of subduing the Earth to his Islamic glory by any means necessary.
They will shoot their own for using drugs, but have no compunction whatsoever with manufacturing those same drugs to finance Jihad and weaken their enemies. They will lie, cheat, steal and bomb and then play on our twisted concept of tolerance by protesting US if anybody dares express any skepticism regarding their good will toward America.
They are at war whether we decide to be or not.
The so called peaceful moderates are to Islam what someone like Nancy Pelosi is to Catholicism. Apostate compromisers who refuse to understand their own religion.

Actually, I’m waiting for Humble to weigh in on this. The Shafi’i Islamic law manual appears to indicate that it’s permissible to kill one’s children.
There were something like 200 hundred honor killings in ‘moderate’ Turkey last year.
