Anyone store some/all of their supplements in the refridgerator?
I’ve always kept my fish oil (whether liquid or caps) in the fridge, same with Pro-Biotic. Not 100% sure why, but I swear I read at some point that these two needed to be kept at a cooled temp to keep from going rancid/bad. So basically i’ve just done it because I’ve always done it.
I also kept my liquid Vitamin D3 in the fridge, but not my pills.
yes, fish oil and pro-biotics should be kept in fridge. Typically, fats (nuts, oils, seeds) should be kept in there as well.
coconut oil bottles recommend it too, but it’s a bitch to get out, so much easier if letf in cabinets. They’re tropical oils and I go through it quick, hope that’s ok.
Yeah when I lived with my mom (bigger fridge) I kept all my mixed nuts in the fridge as well. Now that I’ve got a smaller apartment fridge it doesn’t work, but I’ll be back to that at some point.
Always keep my flax and what not in there.
You put all oils? Red palm, Olive Oil, etc???
I have a big tub of Coconut, and an even bigger tub of Red palm Oil that would be a BITCH to get in the fridge, let alone scoop it out lol…
Just started taking GLA, probably makes sense to keep that in the fridge as well…
EVOO that I buy (Spectrum) says cabinet is fine as long as used withint 12 weeks, which is no problem, so I keep it there.
Never used red palm, but have read good things about it.
You can also put your nuts (HA) in the freezer
