I was wondering if there are any supplements out there that help the body deal with stress? I have alot on my plate right now and I believe it is affecting my recovery and immune.
I currently take fish oil, and a multi.

phosphatidylserine is supposed to do a good job of lowering cortisol, helping you unwind. Might be worth checking out

How about ZMA. Or even just ionic magnesium alone. I like Natural Calm. Be careful not to take too much magnesium at once though… ![]()

Good b vitamins are the shit for stress. Get some sub-lingual liquid b12. The lozenges are great too. 1-2mcg and you will feel so unstoppable you won’t care about whatever was grinding you down.
Z-12 by far some of the best supps to unwind. My recommendation would be 1 cap in evening after dinner then one before bed.
Rhodiola- this stuff is pretty amazing . Def noticed a huge difference with stress etc.
Brain Candy or Spike. A lot of stress for me comes from feeling like I have a lot to do, but just don’t feel like doing it sometimes. Haven’t used brain candy but used the supps in it separately, l- theanine, alpha gpc, l tryosine and caffeine definitely get your ass up and moving without the gitters.

Give Holy Basil and Ashwagandha a try. They’re both used in Indian Ayurvedic medicine for stress, but there is a substantial amount of scientific research that supports them.
I use both and have noticed a big decrease in stress, as well as increased comfort in big social situations. Almost like a “Paxil-junior”, minus the horrible side effects…

Not a supplement not I started doing this due to a back injury and it is great at relaxing me. Get a heat/message pad and some Tiger Balm Ultra. Rub the Ultra on the neck and lumbar then lay on the message pad and let the shitty day and tense muscles melt away.

I take liberal doses of red wine in social situations to ease anxiety and increase comfort.
